Why do y’all assume because folk miss the cut off and still want the stimmy that it’s something wrong with ones finances? So folk who paid taxes and didn’t make the cut shouldn’t get a stimmy? That’s funny the first still Trump sent everyone got that shyt even those making over 160k so now all of a sudden they don’t need it? Explain breh
I would say my general inclination is that I don't need it. I'll graciously take it but I can only judge based on my circumstances and anecdotally, how I see others. It's a rudimentary way of looking at it but I do this in a basic way breh. I personally make 6 figures, my wife is a stay-at-home and as far as expenses, we live modestly but not frugally. Sure, I buy my gaming shyt whenever I want but realistically speaking, it's bills and student loans. Even with that and child support from a previous relationship, I pocket a good deal of change every check. As far as the cutoff, it's a bullshyt number that was decided upon for reasons that have no basis outside of being an arbitrary number. So I guess I look at it like, I'm not hurting for this. Now, as I said before, cost of living and other circumstances may be extraordinary in terms of cost for some. That said, as I said, it is basic in thought but I would readily tell anybody that I shouldn't get this as this cutoff is pretty gracious in itself so if I mentally go through the exercise of reconciling that this isn't a need for me, I wonder how it is for others. Personally, I wish it could go to more folks with real pressing needs and increase their amount. Like with the some of the last one, we gave to the local food pantry. We will likely do that again.
