Tell the right to stop closing down Planned Parenthood centers.:sas2:

I do. They don't listen.

You seem to be quite obsessed with the spending habits of the working poor. I assume you have actual data on this?:comeon:
You do realize landline phones have decreased nearly 50% over the last decade? Surely you're not suggesting owning a phone is a luxury?

Public transportation is very much hit and miss across most of the country. NY and Chicago are the only cities in the country with 24hr public transportation. Which means its damn near impossible to work a night shift without a car unless you live in one of those cities

Data on what? About what poor people spend money on?

All you have to do is use common sense to know minimum wage jobs aren't meant to be supporting families, people with more then minimum spending habits, people paying for school in addition to living expenses etc.

yo @Swavy Karl Marx are you legit into Marxist ideas? Im a history student and wrote on his theories regarding the subject. Couldn't claim to be a dedicated follower, but his writings always caught my attention.

I have some reservations about the fine points of his theories but yeah I consider myself a Marxist. I'm also a history student atm

Sorry breh. I know plenty of people in school that live without cars including me. You're kinda spoiled if you can afford to have one and call it a necessity.

I'm in my 6th year of college, but I'm at least going for something substantial (JD) from a school good enough that I'll be able to pay it off when I'm done.

People aren't lazy that work a min wage job 30 plus hours but they are unskilled and that's just as bad.

I hope reality don't smack the fukk out of you.

The minimum wage was not established as a way of ensuring that high school kids have pocket change. The federal minimum wage was proposed as a way to bring about a living wage for all. Stupid point on your end.

Working people deserve the wealth they create. Stupid point here as well.

Your post is pretty stupid on all levels
No, it wasn't.

Oh I agree 100% with that. GM killed public transit in Detroit and most other cities to fuel the car business. That set America back decades economically and worsened inequality severely.
Population growth and suburban sprawl would have killed it in many cities anyway.

Ironically, car companies will be the ones to help revolutionize public transportation with driverless cars. That shyt is going to open up access to transportation for a lot of people in a huge way, and take a lot of vehicles off the road. I think Ford is already looking into a per ride business model.

Sprawl wouldn't of killed it but it means we still would've gotten huge highways and overpasses and urban renewal.

I think ultimately driverless car will be a service you pay monthly for, or pay for an individual ride.

Well that settles it then

Don't understand what you're saying here
Do we have to have the same lengthy arguments about MW we've had for ages on here overtime you come in with the same tired and debunked arguments?

I have a different perception of MW, one currently supported by US domestic policy in action and theory, than you do....which is fine...but don't ignore past thorough arguments in lieu of present ones.

You're not an idiot, don't act like one.
