If one of your employees was dressed inappropriately for work you would send them home right?

School Is work for children.
There's rules and dress standards. My children's public schools had uniforms /dress code for all students boys and girls.

I've seen judges send people home for being part of the audience in the courtroom and being dressed inappropriately

I've been to churches where a Lap covering is given to visitors who's skirts were a little too short.

This is life.

I don't think the goal should be "oh no! Don't distract the little boys!"
But there's nothing wrong with encouraging a better learning environment with fewer distractions for everyone.

As a parent it's my responsibility to make sure my child is dressed appropriately for the occasion when they leave my house.

I'm not sure what kind of trash parent thinks it's an important freedom for children to wear too short shorts.

These crazy women just want to yell at the sky about how "extra oppressed" they are by men. And God forbid anyone disagree with their lunacy.

:scust:

depends on what it is, like if the dress code is no short sleeves and they wear short sleeves idc but if they show up in a strapless shirt then I would but only because those are the rules and I don't make them. I still think it's dumb to send someone home over it. :yeshrug:

But if you think it's fine then that's cool too.

If dress standards have been set....the child and their guardian have been made aware of the standards

If the child in question is in breach of these standards and I have made the guardian aware that they are in breach...the child missing school after that is entirely on the two of them

When I let that child breach the standard what is to stop others from doing so and what leg would I have to stand on to if I tried to enforce it after that

If you have an issue conforming to a dress standard remove the child and take it to a different school or home school the child

The world will be a huge wake up call to anyone cosigning this nonsense

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. There is nothing wrong with dress codes I said I think sending someone home for being out of dress code is dumb. Call their parents to bring them clothes or something. My hs used to make us go to iss (in school suspension) or just say don't wear it again/give you a write up. Making someone go home over it is dumb in my opinion.

But if you don't have a problem with that then why does it matter what I think.

Spot on target

at church my shirt is to be tucked in

Men were not allowed to wear any sort of hats in church

Jewelry was expected to be discreet

Some congregagtions expect men to wear a tie and a long sleeved shirt

Dress standards and expectations of how one must comport yourself are not foreign concepts.....When you become part of an organization you fall in line with their standards or you have to make a compelling reason why the standard should be changed.

Exactly. It's about being appropriate and being respectful of the environment in which you find yourself.

If you want to dress slutty in a club or at All-Star weekend...go ahead. You're surrounded by consenting adults who knowingly entered a "aint sh#t" environment to dance, drink, attention whore and possibly find someone to smash that night.

If you want to dress slutty at a corporate event where business deals are being sparked....stay at home. That environment is about serious business and distractions from that are not welcome. Same with school.

I can understand children and teens hiding clothes and then changing once they get to school. Kids do that. But what I don't understand is parents, especially mothers i.e. grown women, sending their female children out into the world in sexually alluring and enticing fashion.

Why would you dress your female child in a way that brings sexual attention when she may not even be ready for that? Why would encourage her to show off her body before she understands how it works and what consequences come with it's inner workings? Why would you lie to your female child about the implications of how she dresses and how that should not affect how people, especially men, view her in terms of her worth?

I'm all for first wave feminism...women being able to vote, own property, work outside the home, equal pay for equal work, etc. Things that any human should have access to. But what we have now is something else. This level of misandry is nothing more than debauchery and self-indulgence.

Peace

I'm not saying I disagree with her post, I just don't understand why she thinks that flyer is ridiculous. lol sending a girl home from school because her shorts are too short or her bra straps are showing is stupid. I doubt the boys are gonna be distracted by bra straps.

You'd be very, very wrong.

I am not understanding what was wrong with her post. Maybe somethings wrong with me too. Oh and she's fine. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say that either
Thats verbal rape breh. Be careful with your speech in this brave new pro gay, pro feminist, Obama led USA we're in breh. You could face jail time if such speech is uttered in public in the very near future.

Rest assured if Hilary Clinton wins, these black feminist heifers will get a HUGE platform to spout their bullshyt.
