I miss when the south was dirty.
I noticed a lot of posters say NY copied the south or copied this or that but didn't they create the whole template?

NY did not create the Southern style of rap or the West Coast style....but they sure as hell copied both when they were at their peaks.........
I'm not from NY i'm from Miami. I mean they created a large percent of the culture from it's fascination with sneakers to sampling and freestyling to wearing baseball cap backwards i'm writing a paper on the influence of NY urban culture on the countryNy didnt create 84 of the culture
And to be arrogant and dumb enough to claim rhat is the main problem with ny nikkas
of course they didn't but don't both of those styles derive from NY rap ??
.....NO!.....LOL!....NY nikkaz use to shyt on West Coast & Southern rap so bad....they didn't even want to be associated with it....now look at 'em.....
......
nikka I'm from Brooklyn....and I'm speaking the truth....just because other rappers looked up to NYC in the 80's really doesn't mean shyt....rap evolved after the 80's...I think you guys are just biased i'm from the south and i can admit that hip hop started in NY and had an influence on the west coast and the south. What do you think spice 1 and ice t were into to in 83? I mean i saw bun b speak at my school (UM) and he spoke on his obession with RUN DMC and NY during his teenage years.
Bullshyt!!...NY disrespected the West & the South....they didn't start coming around till the early 90's....those are facts....Y'all gotta stop with this Bogus rhetoric, shyt is so far from the truth
