What I find funny is that Usher was selling WAY more records when he was just a household name in the Urban community.

Now because of The Voice and more pop-oriented songs over the past 7,8 years he's much more of a household name in middle America but isn't nearly as a big of a seller as he used to be.

Just came in to say that Confessions is still flames.:whew:
I was surprised when he did an arena tour here last year (I think) off the back of no album at all.

All we want is another Confessions :to:

The development process behind the making of Confessions was that the stars aligned, the right team was chosen at the right time and a damn near perfect album was created.:lawd:

We're likely to never be blessed with another album like Confessions for a long time.:sadcam:

"Dont Mind" sounds like a song @CrimsonTider would write

:russ:

Honestly climax was well received critically and commercially, and lemme see was all over the place in 2012. Those are the last good hits usher has put out.

In the last seven years or so this guy has put out some garbage though, and I don't care what the numbers are.

I don't mind was a bad song even if it made money.

OMG was god awful and idgaf if it went triple diamond

Never thought I'd have to ask this question. :francis:

But as he's released music to try and stay current with the styles, it's like he seems more and more out of touch. The singles he's released the past couple years haven't made much noise and quite frankly have been sub-par. And then that electronic/dance album before that.

I had to question his relevance when he did the Wale feature. I mean, maybe he just really liked the project, but Wale(and I'm a fan) doesn't exactly get top billed features.
