Serious question: Who exactly has said something negative about Lyor Cohen except Dame Dash?

He has a terrible entitled personality. No doubt he used to treat those rappers as just slaves to make him money. I don't wish him bad but he is the epitome of an entitled greedy white exec that run the industry. LA Reid is really the only High level black exec out here. Nowhere near enough. How else you gonna protect black music.

Lyor is not in the business of being your friend or doing charity that's not why Russell and them got him, he's in the business of making artists blow up and rich. If you can't blow up, he doesn't fukk with you. If you aren't big, he's not got time for you. That's how every business works, you think it's weird that a junior lawyer isn't getting love from the managing partner while a rain making partner is?

The people that succeed love it, some people that fail don't and other like Dame are just loco.

:dahell: stfu

he asked for receipts & when he gets em cats like u just gonna brush it off as "disgruntled rappers"? foh.

Curtis Sc00n is another one, and he aint a rapper.
MOP
Freddie Foxxx
Dame
Waka
Scarface
Jay Electronica
Dres of Black Sheep
Suge
Mos Def
3rd Bass
Rick Ruben dont really fukk with Lyor

Is that not enough?

Basically brought the 360 deals to the game also, at least "officially". Various other shyt.
Took credit for Jay, X & Ja that really was on behalf of Gotti

Essentially took Def Jam from Russell while bringing in his israeli financiers.

Didnt wanna give Murder Inc a label deal, then Sony came knocking & blocked Gotti from that deal on some "we own u" shyt, THEN
they eventually gave him a deal with Def Jam for it.

Tried to steal Snoop before Doggystyle from Death Row, him & Russell that is.

Blocked Jay-Z for doing the remix on Talib's "Get By" cuz he was "too underground".

List goes on.
Of the rappers you mentioned, Jay Electronica, Suge, Black Sheep, Mos Def, and Freddie Foxx never had any business with him.
And Mos Def said "A tall Israeli is running this rap shyt", I don't know if that's negative towards to Lyor

I can't find Scarface dissing him

3rd Bass dissed Lyor on their first album cause he didn't think they were gonna blow up

Dres "negative" talk was that Lyor said that he didn't have time to listen to his music, then called him the next day and said that he wanted to sign them.
That got Dre's in his feelings, to point that he shytted on Russell Simmons for no reason. I don't know why one demands the CEO of perhaps 100 acts should drop everything they are doing to pay attention to the newest and smallest act, he has people to do that.

Dame's critique is invalid since he dissed every single white man that's in hiphop

Jay Electronica said something like "Tell Lyor Cohen and people like him that Dame is looking for him, we have some questions"

You are not posting any receipts, you are name dropping. You might as well add every single person that's mentioned his name. Rick Rubin is the only person I can see that's valid in that list, I don't really know what happen there but somehow Rubin got replaced by Lyor, but that wasn't Lyors choice. Russell and Rubin split that label in two, Lyor stayed with Russell and hiphop while Rubin started doing rock.

Nikka wouldn't even let Mos Def call him a tall Israeli on record but you can say whatever about others just don't ever speak on Jews. I think that's very telling of how he views rap. Source of money but something he loves or cares about.

360 deals are the devil's work.
