With all these rappers we talk about all day long. On here, and on social media or whatever. Why are so many people calling dude boring? It's the exact same critique. Everywhere. Something's clearly missing, if that many people say the same sh*t about dude, for years.

Cole gets called boring, but literally knowbody talks bout Joey. His career literally died after lil b diss and really known now more for being on power.

His top project will get washed by like 6-7 Cole projects

Problem with Joey was that he had like three careers going at the same time, and wasn't just doing the music anymore.

But when he dropped his new joint like a week ago, he was posting dudes like Conway, Raekwon, and other MC's congratulating him with coming back to what the people want from him. He's acting and modeling and all that, but the people want him to get back to the music. Speaking honestly, I've worked with both dudes, and Cole ain't got nothing seeing 1999.

That sh*t is wild old, and still better than everything Cole has done, to me.

Summer Knights has some of joeys best rapping and best songs and clears cole output from 2011-2014. along with crazy verses from the pro era crew

2014fhd is still wack. yall can talk impact and all that bot the album is some mid. it has songs i like but overall its just solid.

kod. that album is just lame. i like window pain & brackets but every other song is corny. might be one of the corniest albums to come from a highly acclaimed rapper. cole is too surface level & fake deep to pull off the concept

Summer Knights is incredibly forgettable, and overshadowed by 1999. Same goes for the Rejex tapes. I think his debut doesn't get enough love, and a lot of people were turned off by the experimental route he went on some songs, but im glad he doubled down on it in ABBA. Both albums are great but the tapes following 1999 were disappointing. Didn't he even say he didn't want to put out that rejex tape but the label made him?

2014 is a classic what are we even talking about man. Even wet dreamz is good albeit corny. How you hating on Fire Squad and GOMD,

2 great tapes, debut was lacking but okay, 2 great eps, Born Sinner (underrated, you should relisten), a certified classic with FHD, then 4YEO which is also great but slept on, off season.

Not to mention Revenge of the Dreamers II and III which were great for the culture.

Nah man Cole a GOAT and Joey may be a better lyricist but he doesn't have a better catalog by a long shot. I'm not even going to argue about Kendrick he's got arguably the best catalog ever, gibbs is great too but not really mainstream like that. Travis is retarded and doesn't rap, outside of Rodeo im not listening to that bullshyt. 21 can compete better than Joey can.

1999 is still Joey's best project, though Summer Knights, All American Badass, Br.da.$$ and 2000 are all solid (horrible decision to have Diddy on the intro) - but I'm not sure where this idea that Joey would wash Cole would come from.

I have not heard a verse better than Cole on Johnny P's Caddy from Joey - only thing that comes close in my opinion is his second verse on Hardknock
