Serious question, why do Democrats let conservatives spread propaganda unchecked?

A lot of conservative propaganda has been successful in swaying on the fence people and has even made some democrats full on flip Republican. Do they not see how this is an issue.

I think it has something to do with views. They see a space they fit in on YouTube which isn't saturated and that's Black people talking Conservatives values.

But I also think these brothers are united because of anti Trans stuff also.

Let's also not discount the virus that'd the Red Pill community. People watch long enough and they will go down that rabbit hole which will eventually lead to the Right.

Conservatives invest billions of dollars to misinform the uneducated masses. There is unfortunately an overwhelming number of Americans who lack critical thinking skills and are easily swayed over by reactionary talking points. I see it with some of my family members. Some of them literally get their news from Facebook memes and lack the intellectual rigor to do basic fact checking.

I don't know why Dems let Cons get away with so much propaganda. It takes less time to spread lies than it does to dismantle them. Once a lie is thoroughly debunked Conservatives have already dished out 10 more. And Conservative media is literally ALL OVER the plave. Its baked into our social media algorithms and tv screens. You have to be a wise individual just to see through the bs.

You answered your question in the end . These videos are made by idiots with no political literacy and they lead other idiots. The government can't stop this. Can't stop every moron with a camera from regurgitating what another moron with a camera said.

Maybe they can go at the source of a lot of this missinformation like the networks that cater to it but that usually only happens when things become legal. Like when Alex Jones finally had to bend the knee to the courts over Sandy Hook lies. It was the parents who made him fall back not the government. If the government started policing discussion there conservatives would have ammo to say they are heavy handed. It is usually when you can prove that the words are causing harm that you can shut down these sources.

Truthfully the root issue is a fundamental flaw in adults who don't vet their information source. It can be considered uneducated behavior. To just run with what you see means on a basic level as an adult you didn't learn a critical skill in your education. This wasn't a big deal when we had less media sources and gate keepers but the internet and social media broke the walls.

When I saw Brandon I clicked off the vid. The answer to your question is actually simple. It's a two party system and both parties benefit from them. The covid conspiracy theories was enough to get people to vote democrat cause they were tired of it and the republican candidates entertaining it (to a certain extent). Also, most politicians today have law backgrounds. Lawyers don't change things necessarily, they react for a perceived outcome. That's how both parties operate when you think about it.
