So if someone has based their opinion on a Fox News report or a CNN report, why would we discredit the source and not the information?

I’m not a turn the other cheek guy but Republicans are like North Koreans to me. If war was to resume, you’d have to eliminate a significant amount of the populace because they are that emotionally vested in the supreme leader and all he stands for. There’s no amount of reintegration into normal society that exists. And that is republicans in a nutshell. They actively seek out the news THEY want to hear. There’s a reason the GOP dominates the AM/FM dial. Contrary to what y’all think, there is a large swath of this nation that isn’t connected to the internet (or at least what we consider up to speed net). These folks don’t care about truth or being right or wrong by the other side. They just want to be heard (loudest in the room) and able to dunk on the libs. And if they gotta make a lotta folks lives miserable with policy or trolling then so be it. No amount of mudslinging or stooping to their level will change that.

Political mudslinging campaigns have always urked me. It speaks volumes that our so called leaders try to keep the focus on why the other side is the worse choice opposed to why they themselves are better.
