ugh, no one touched on the real reason. The real reason why is cuz every country on this planet wants a piece of the continent of Africa. Africa has the most natural resources on this entire planet from diamonds to fruits & vegetables to minerals. No country on this planet has enough military force to take over the ENTIRE continent and even if they take over a few countries the rest of the African countries would team up and DESTROY any country that would try. SO all that's left is MENTAL warfare. If you degrade anything associated with Africa from people, to places, to animals etc it will make Africans less likely to cherish what they have and more likely to give it up to any country that wants to take it. It's the reason why they show famine on TV all the time for Africa when less that 2% of the entire continent is dealing with it.

Except whites and Asians already own Africa and have been raping it for centuries, only difference is they bribe a few negros during the process now. And no African country could withstand a western invasion, and no African leader would come to the assistance of another African leader against a superpower.

I'm pro-black, pan African, all that, but lets get real. Africa is really fukked right now and ain't close to being a powerhouse continent.

I'm happy that the Chinese are at least giving the Western world competition in Africa, there hasn't been competition there since the Cold War, but the Chinese have no interest in the advancement of African nations, they just trying to catch up to the U.S. and Europe over there.

nah. It depends which country you speak of. I'm actually dealing with Sino-African relations (which is one of the reasons I'm in china).

For example my country DRC, for every 1 chinese worker, you have to hire 3 congolese. Our politician is very smart, president Laurant is a very young guy in his 30s, these new cats are not being fooled a second time (the ones that are are old dictators). The reason Laurant created this law is to anticipate DRC to be self reliant. Also, he wants china to build factories in Congo, and be the factory for China for when China gets its own middle class in the future. Basically he wants to be like what china was in the 70s, and then eventually once more and more congolese become employed and the university facilities (the chinese are building) are finished, they can be self reliant 100%. I think Angola is going that same route and Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia are already there. A lot of these countries are sending their students to China to learn chinese too. and the students are actually going back after they get their BA and BS degrees.

China isn't planting a seed, the chinese have always, throughout history, been great traders and not exploiters. Remember the Ming Dynasty already traded with east africa. It's where the Great Zimbabwe got a lot of money from. same with Zanzibar. We just have a self esteem problem and think that we are too stupid to learn from our mistakes in the past. which is sad because I think a lot of countries have, not all, but many. Botswana is a great example of that.
