This is true and we as a people don't have unity. We need to model ourselves as other groups of people when it comes to cohesive protection. Cops won't be down a Jew, etc... We are so fracture. We also have to demand and protect our streets ourselves. You can't have Bob Hamilton who hates blacks patrol our neighborhood abusing their power. We are at fault and we must take action.
Nothing we really can do.
We can rally, make speeches, retaliate or whatever else.
At the end of the day the only person that can do something about it is the person who controls them. And all he can really do it take their badge and shyt away, take away their power and give them no control... Fire them.
After we do all we can they'll give a speech about how they'll try to fix it and all that shyt. But at the end of the day they won't do shyt unless they want to.
I mean, us doing something might nudge em a little but I doubt they'll make huge changes

Honestly, our last projects have made me real cynical. Especially when we're talkin NYPD, only thing they'll understand is bullets in the brain for every infraction. I don't any of us are gonna go out of our way to that degree. But anything yall come up with got my support.

Honestly, all of these recent cases have made me feel very helpless. I've been wondering what I would or could do if I'm confronted with an overzealous cop.
In addition to rallying around current cases, I think every single instance needs to start being broadcast online. WSHH has hundreds of videos uploaded everyday of "black behavior," we need a central location to post all videos of police acting out of order. People get excited to upload a "world star" video, we need that same enthusiasm when recording, documenting, and publishing police behavior. If possible, we need to get car numbers and badge number as the incident happens so that can be publicized as well (their identities are always protected).
Just thinking back, the US and local governments did not respond to our civil rights demands until the brutality was high publicized and our government and police forces were shown as the animals that they were. It worked then, it's an idea now.

Ya I feel you on that but we did raise awareness tho. The bytch will be forever emotionally scarred and we got some retweets from people I never thought would care.
I definitely want to do this because I see what they post on their police forums which shows me that they enjoy threatening and physically harming black people so I want to do whatever I can do to harm them.
EDIT: If anyone can get a hand on some badge numbers then we can sign up on these forums and get them at their playground because they LOVE to brag about shyt online after they've done something in Harlem, Bronx, Brooklyn etc

I honestly think surveillance is one of the most effective methods of combatting the issue of police brutality.
While I do think this is a good idea, it would also end up being counterproductive. Public perception fueled by the media would just end up discounting it as a 'Police officer hate forum'
The only thing I believe can actually put these agencies in line is a persistent organized unrest.
Regardless of the situation they tend to respond when the streets are in an uproar.
Well if they say the shyt on their forums then exposing that would be a good first step. Narratives are important, and the narrative has been that aggressive policing is needed in these communities whereas I think the conditions were created long ago to necessitate such tactics and it was a perfect slam dunk opportunity to quietly wage war on the community and its citizens to where now in 2014 its pretty much become a culture within law enforcement to intimidate and downright assault people that they view as enemy combatants due to the gradual militarization of America's police.
In a strange way play a card Israel has used against the Palestinians by saying there is no peaceful parties to negotiate with or trust within law enforcement, this is why, *show police forum shyt*, then show all the countless victims that have died from police violence. It's all about narratives, the war on the community don't sound as good as a war on crime/drugs.

I could see that. The mission of such a site would have to be very clear.
In regard to the organized unrest, how do we get people to actually participate and how does that happen without more brutality? Even thinking back to Occupy, the police were ready to start some ish and be hostile.

1. Contact local politicians whom are up for election, put up money for their campaign and votes in exchange of them putting anti-police brutality laws into action if they get elected(if a cop uses unlawful force on blacks, they will be imprisioned for 10 years).
2. Pool money together to establish a black patrol force, where they can protect blacks from the police and crime. If you don't want to face possible legal trouble, break off some money to some sort of politician or government branch so they'll let you be.
3. Start arming blacks and training the youth in martial arts.
4. To challenge police brutality nationwide, you can hire black lawyers to charge(you bring the charge to the UN like Malcolm) America for genocide on blacks, and hire 100 blacks to be at the UN and explain to news outlets why is the US being charge for genocide.
I live in the NY area, and I'm down to actually put this in action. So if anyone is interested, let me know.
