If I'm not mistaken, OKC beat San Antonio 4 out of 4 times in the regular season.

I think the Thunder can take them. Clippers? No.

They gonna need more than that, plus Kawhi is one of the better defenders on KD too. It's gonna be extremely hard for the Thunder to beat SA.

Of course they need more than a one man show, but Leonard cannot stop durant, he can only make it tougher. Noone can shut down durant. Nobody. You just hope he has a bad shooting night. They might frustrate him for a game or two, but you can't play him too close because refs give him calls, and you can't stay too far away from him or he'll beat you with the jumpers and nobody can check Westbrook either.

There's just two much brute scoring power from westbrick and durant for them to deal with them for a whole series.

Thunder will handle the Spurs. They've dominated them all season for good reason. Spurs don't want it with them plain and simple.

Only chance the spurs have is if they shoot an absurd percentage from the field.

The problem for the teams left is that they are not nearly as deep as the Spurs...

You got Diaw, Manu, Boss Belli, Patty coming off the bench...

If all 4 of them play poorly you can win that game...

If 1 plays good you will be in it until the end and it will just be a toss up...

If 2 play good then you had better be perfect in your defensive rotations or they are just going to slowly pull away from you...

if 3 play good forget it you are going to get blown out of the water...

They are the only teams left who's bench can consistently turn a 7 point lead into an 18 point lead in a hurry...

Pretty much, when Manu is getting in the lane and not turning the ball over, while belli and patty cakes are making shots...they are just about the greatest offense in NBA history...

Everybody looks to that Dallas series as the blueprint to beating the Spurs...

The spurs missed a ton of open shots in that series...and Pop just straight up conceded 2 games for whatever reason...game 2 and 6 he was just like "fukk this we will get the next one"...

They play like they been playing the last 3 games...Yikes

:mjpls: Nets was sayin' the same thing about the Heat and they're halfway to gettin' swept. Regular season is checkers. Playoffs are chess. OKC provides matchup issues for SA, but to beat em' in a series they need a few more rabbits to pull out of their hat.

The Nets ain't the Thunder, though. Furthermore, I don't think the Heat were at full strength for any of those regular season losses to the Nets (I am pretty sure at least one of the big three missed each game). SA's top guys played in all of those games against OKC and the Spurs still lost. Not saying it would be easy, but OKC can take the Spurs quicker than the Clippers can.

Remember in the 2012 playoffs when the Spurs swept the first round

Swept the 2nd round

Easily won the first 2 games against the Thunder......then the Thunder won the next 4 in a row?

I think there's a 70% chance the Thunder would beat them. It's just a bad matchup for the Spurs.

However, I'd give the Clippers only a 10% chance.

Don't matter in the end because if either the Clips or OKC were to win, they'd just get murdered by the Heat.

Actually, the Clippers and Spurs both match up incredibly well with the Heat. They would have no answer for DJ and Kuwabara, then their depth matches with them.

Honestly I'm expecting a Heat-Spurs rematch. But this Spurs team is gonna get in their ass big time. Way better than the team last year.
