However, if your happiness is dependent upon a man or woman needing to be beside you to "balance you out," there's a chance you'll be staring down the barrel of a 12 gauge down the line.
Statistically, marriages have a high probability of failing.
That doesn't mean you can't get married - I personally plan on marrying down the line.

Didnt read the whole threat but most of these nikkas lying. Its a very small percent of dudes who dont want to get married/be in longterm relationships. Good for you fam, I hope it works out for you and your wife. The pre paid analogy I use works because of supply and demand, also it's something you would have to tell whoever it is you are dating up front from the beginning. I'm not with that leading people on, so honesty in the beginning is very important. Also if you are a man with means and have a lot going on for yourself, then you have leverage to dictate what type of relationship you are looking for . But overall Legal marriage isn't mandatory, so I don't knock anybody that signs up for it. But based on my analogy and what I have observed in life, any contract that you didn't create is meant to screw you over. Cell phone contracts, Mortgages were 95 percent of your money goes to interest ,credit card contracts,lease agreements for apartments, car notes, and of course MARRIAGE. I bring all that up to say, A bad contract is A bad contract and signing contracts based off of emotions is never a good idea. But your a grown man and i'm sure you knew the risk so ​

you can have notarized agreements to cover these scenarios. agreements that actually reflect something you both agreed and compromised on instead of some random template provided by the government that everyone uses.

I did learn recently that this often cited stat is actually flawed because they polled couples who were already on their second marriage. Couples who were married more than once are 50% more likely to get a divorce, whereas couples who married only one partner had a lower divorce rate. I will have to see if I can find the article...but thought it was interesting.
