I get the freestyle fellowship comparisons, but Bone's style and flow was a lot more crisp and hard hitting. Them nikkas ain't fukking with Bone.
Aceyalone is lyrically superior to anyone in Bone, and you can argue he's the greatest pure lyricist ever (not the best all around artist). That doesn't mean he makes the best sounding music because he doesn't by any means. The A Book of Human Language album is conceptually on a higher level than any rap album I've ever heard. It just has garbage beats and you might fall asleep listening to it.

The album is supposed to be like a book about the human experience where every song is like a chapter about a different aspect of human existence. Like I said the beats mostly suck and its definitely not something to bump in the whip. But if you sit alone and listen to it with full attention, it might have you like :ohhh: :mindblown:

Wu-Tang is the most original
Honorable mention to Run-DMC. They were before my time, but they changed the way people view the whole Hip Hop genre. Before them, Hip Hop was more party sounding songs. Run DMC changed the game where the focus went from party songs to street tales. Rappers (Before 1983) dressed like space galaxy cartoon characters, Run DMC dressed like what people actually wore in the hood. It became more real

Outkast anyone?
***snorts 1second***
Yep starting with atliens, southernplayalistic is ya typical southern rap groups..the 8ball & Mjg's, Ugk, South Circle, Royal Flush ( the original group).

They could've easily been a 1 trick pony, but they did a complete 360 after every album.

Bone is good yep, but the rap harmony stuff was already in the industry, 2nd II none, Domino were rap singin when bone was still on that Fu-schnickens style when Domino and 2nd II None was doing their thing.

Once Eazy put Tony c and Dj Uneek together with Bone, they reinvented what they was already doing and made it darker.

I really do think they took some stuff from Paul, Juicy, Playa/Lil fly, skinny pimp, gangsta pat, and dj zirk, because coming from the Bone enterpise stuff, to the memphis style/sound just dont happen over night even their look changed.

they didn't swipe anything from 3-6 mafia. they were already doing that type chit when they were bone enterprise. and I don't see how their look changed at all. lol. nor do I see how their look relates to 3-6 mafia.

like you said, they got with u-neek, tony c and them and made their style even darker, but they were already doing that.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
wu. 9-10 totally different mcs making them the biggest group over the most advanced hip hop production of their time.

masta killa
- spoken word, 5%/murder dropper. rigth to the point. brother mouzone of wu
ol dirty - ASON UNQIUE - raw rockstar i dont give a fluck mc who could do gritty to shiny music effortlessly. dude sung way before most rappers
gza - old school 1980s feel reminiscent of the kanes/rakims who is PURE lyricism. one of the best writers in hip hop
raekwon - slang heavy mobster rapper. took g raps mafia influenced/blended it with staten island culture and had big/nas/jay on his mafioso dikk nh
method man - smooth flow. all the qualities of a superstar mc. dude could have never dropped a DEEP personal verse in his life yet all his shyt ois just SO hip hop
rza - i dont know where to begin. more styles than anyone in wu. 5% dropper. gangsta. freestyle pcp bob digi. hippy rza.... all while being one of the greatest producers in history who set a unique soudn to EVERY album he produced
ugod - either crazy to the point or wildly abstract. people seem to forget he was on that crazy supreme clienetele rhyme shyt before ghost
deck - a rhyme animal. dude had metaphors and lines that blew ya mind back in the day. a mix of meth rae and the gza with lines that helped wu tang become legendary
ghostface one of the most COMPLETE mcs of all time.ever nyc mixtape rapper in the 2000s up until recently put on their best ghostface circa cuban linx coke dealer style every song. one of the most personal mcs all time.

most other groups have similar subject matter between all members. wu tang could have 30 diff subjects in one song and somehow it just related to everything on some world shyt.

albums ranged from 36: pure raw hip hop. to cuban linx - the NEW drug dealer album to liquid swords - pure dark atmosphere to wu tang forever - you dont even gotta goto summer school. every release was different

so unqiue they couldnt be duplicated no matter how hard these new crews try. i didnt even get into them having their own slang, the deals brokered, how they played the game..etc. easily #1 most unqiue group ever
