Ha bruh? All I said was that in my eyes Atlanta is not on the same level as those cities. I lived in LA for a few years, I own a house in ratchet ass Gary and I visit Chicago at least once a month and I got family from DC to NY. Atlanta is a major city but it is not on that level of a NYC when it comes to being world class. I dont care what some world ranking Alpha/Beta survey says, we not in the same ball park as NYC. We got a lot to offer but comparing a metro of 5 million to one of over 20 million is foolish.

And Atlanta is not segregated, you don't know what you're talking about. Not one bit homie. Not going to act like Atlanta doesn't have racist Cacs, cuz its does. But the city is no where near segregated. There are Black folks all over Atlanta, there really isn't an all white part of town. Even in the richest areas like Buckhead you will still see a decent number of Black people. We go where ever the white folks go, we live where they live and we eat and party in the same spots as they do. And outside of that we have all Black neighborhoods like Cascade that are just as nice as any white part of town. There is no equivalent to Cascade here in Charlotte, not even close.

And dude the Black people that are eating good here in Charlotte are all working for corporate America, Black business ownership here is non-existent compared to Atlanta. For a city with this many Black people there is no reason that NO local restaurants, lounges or clubs are owned by Charlotte Blacks outside of maybe Kai's Kookies and a few hood food spots and BBQ/soul spots here or there. Yall dont own shyt up here, and the locals get mad and defensive when you point it out. That cat Peter Thomas came up here and opened up a Bar ONE in Charlotte and did numbers just off the fact that there is no competition. He couldn't keep a spot open in the A for more than a year, the Bar ONE in Atlanta was an epic failure.

Ain't nobody bashing the city if they make an observation about the lack of that here, they are just stating facts.

Druid Hills is pretty solidly White, but you're on point.

There's been NUMEROUS incidents posted, incidents that have occured repeatedly over YEARS of being in NC, and they're still in denial.

So desperate they're bringing up the Greensboro sit-in and other long past civil rights era events

Although it's extremely IRRELEVANT to this thread and the discussion of the c00ning of the Blacks in NC, many of the people responsible for the NC side of The Movement were not even from NC

But again, that's completely irrelevant anyway(civil rights era accomplishments).

It has nothing to do with the fact that now, these days, Blacks in NC could care less about Black atrocities.

10 pages in, and not a single NC person has still batted an eyelash or showed an ounce of concern about the lynching in their backyard.

One of the black guys who believed he was being discriminated against on glenwood even protested the practice a couple years ago, and it caught steam.

One of the Black guys, one of them..out of weekend after weekend of whordes of you local Blacks going to Glenwood Ave. and getting muscled out of white establishments for the smallest of "infractions". Congratulations and I'm glad that the one little newspaper article written on it symbolizes "gaining steam" for you

I lived in north Carolina for a little over 10 years. I didn't like it. It's something about the culture there that I couldn't get with.

EVERYBODY(almost) that comes here, says that.

It's not said by people who visit GA.
It's not said by ppl who visit Fla.
It's not said by people who visit NYC.

Nobody visits those places and says these things, but yet, when everyone visits NC they say the same thing.
