Seriously, what is wrong with the Blacks in NC?????

You don't know too many Black folks in Charlotte. Just the other day I saw a white dude try a Black dude at the CVS on Beatties Ford Rd. Black dude had a Broncos jersey on and the white dude was in front of him buying some shyt with a Panthers hat on. The cashier starts going back and forth on some friendly NFL banter type shyt with the Black dude and then the white dude turns around and joins in. Nothing really that serious, but as the white guy walks out the store he cracked a joke about dude rocking a Broncos jersey as he was leaving and then all the sudden the Black dude wants to start getting loud and shyt like "mf'er you dont know me type shyt" and I just looked at him asked him why he waited till the white dude was out the store to get loud and aggressive. Dude looked back at me with the ice grill and I shot his ass one right back. nikka didn't say shyt else. Thats the shyt Im talking about, it may be normal to you but white folks way to comfortable here just saying what ever they feel like to random nikkas that they don't know. And I was on the B Ford bro, right across from LaSalle St where all those nikkas post up at, so it wasn't like I was in white folks hood. This white man felt perfectly fine stopping at a CVS on his way home from work in one of the worst parts of the city and joking with random nikkas like its cool.

I know plenty of Black people and have never experienced anything like this. Most white people will try not to have problems with Black people to their face. I know there are racist white people here but I can't think of any situations where I've seen a Black person just let that stuff slide.

This shyt is almost unbearable at times here man.
And I've always noticed it because it's so, everywhere... but I've never realized just how much of an issue it was until these stories started coming out, confirming what I already felt, witnessed, and suspected these past few years.

I actually considered moving to NC(Charlotte), but whatever you guys think of NC as a whole, Oklahoma is way worse. I hate to go in on my home state, but it's the God honest truth. Black Oklahoma is LOST. OK is like Mississippi with a lower black population.

What part you from cause we ain't letting that slide in Tulsa, bruh.

I played college ball with some guys from Lawton. They didn't have much good to say about it; never been myself though. Tulsa is alright though. Segregated as hell, but I assume that's every major city. Folks put on a good front about race relations but every now and then they'll say some slick stuff to show their true colors.

If you've lived here for North Carolina for a reasonable amount of time, you know the race issues we face isn't just about the good-ol-boys network (old-school racial profiling prevalent statewide but especially heavy in the smaller, piece of crap towns), but also these fake liberals who come from the Northeast thinking they can come down here and steamroll blacks.


I've got no problem admitting NC has race issues. Because this is where I live, where I plan on building my future business, so I have to deal with it - Not an ATLien or New Yorker who comes here for a weekend and expects it to be a world-class city in Beta.

Yo I'm sick of that up north transplant card yall Charlotte dudes keep using. I've heard that same shyt over and over from dudes here. Bruh yall aint the only city in the south with a shyt load of up north transplants. Atlanta got just as many folks from the north as yall do. Difference is we not impressed by that shyt the way cats are up here in CLT.

And Atlanta is not a world class city. Yall act like we some NY or London nikkas when we not. We some southern country nikkas just like yall except we not on that slowbucks shyt that yall dudes are on. I said this in another thread and I meant it- dudes in smaller southern cities grind harder than yall. nikkas from Birmingham would run circles around yall on a paper chase.

I don't frequent OKC much, so I can't really tell you how the dating scene is other than there probably is some wenching and bucking going on up there, but it won't lead to nothing.... Even where I live, I only know a small handful of black people that dated/married out.... the BM relationships are successful, the BW, not so much. All it is is fukking. Most of the whites will marry their own.

Don't try to make an argument based off hood knowledge when the numbers clearly disprove what you are saying. After all the talk Atlanta gets on this forum, and all of the numbers that show how Atlanta has catapulted to the go-to city of the southeast right there with Miami, you are telling me that isn't true, for no other reason than to bash NC.

And back to the main point of race, Atlanta is heavily segregated, just like most cities. If you want to imagine that Atlanta/GA has no racial tensions, then keep imagining it. But I see this race issue for what it is - not just in my city/state, but on the news and internet its obvious that White Pride (or black hate) is on the rise Nationwide, not some isolated issue. I don't know whats going on in Birmingham, other than its falling/stagnant population, and high poverty/crime, which is not consistent with "running circles" around anyone.

Don't play this regional game unless you actually know whats going on and can prove with numbers and facts. Based on what you've said so far you don't have a clear picture of any of the cities you've named.

I understand for your state but some of you aren't thinking coherently.
This thread and my reason for making it has nothing to do with anything other than the glaringly obvious fact that relative to other places in this nation, the Blacks here are far more submissive to whites than Blacks in other places.

This observation has been shared and supported by countless others.

What do yall think, we all gathered together and secretly conspired to create a thread on the coli dot com talking about this? I don't know a single poster in here who says they've shared the same observations, nor do I know their family who they say observed the same behavior.

If damn near everyone who visits this state says this, then there is truth to it. Get over it.
It has nothing to do with "why are you here" or "NC nikkas are hard" or "Charlotte" for crying out loud.

It's a combination of the observations I've read here that were similar to mine, then the millbrook high incident, the clubs on glenwood that went through a phase of choking nikkas out and tossing them like 2 years ago, the lack of outrage and the complete ignoring of the teen's lynching recently.

Nobody here(NC) cares.

If a Black teen had just been lynched in any other state I'm sure there would be a huge outcry/uprisal. Here, most of my Black coworkers haven't even heard the story

Don't let these coli nikkas fool you. Charlotte is a great city for black folks. Lots of really progressive black people here that are about their business and their people. If you're black and you about your business then Charlotte is the promised land.

Nobody is saying that Black people here aren't about their business, nor is anyone trying to deter anybody from "moving to Charlotte", can you read? Or do you just have the wrong thread?
