Same way they tax all independent providers:

- worker goes to the office (like a Hoe DMV) and registers as a provider
- they have to pay a registration fee, and they have to renew the license periodically
with the state
- they have to report their wages. Here's where it gets fun.
A worker could work for an agency (and here is where the pimp still eats), or they
could work independently. But they have to keep their records on fleek. If not,
and they don't submit 1099s to the government every quarter or yearly, the state and
feds are gonna come for that ass (no pun intended).

Porn stars pay taxes. Rappers deal with a lot of cash and pay taxes. I don't have it all figured out but we know Uncle Sam gonna find a way to his bread.

My line of thinking is if there's a system of these women, there's structure, i.e. monthly STD tests, client to institution-reported views to make sure the work isn't robbing/cheating clients, have any unstable or destructive habits, etc, to keep their license. That same system could probably ask workers to have a price minimum in order to maintain some form of quality control, nothing crazy but to make sure some dirty dude can't scrape up 30 bucks for a bare blowjob or sex and the women won't be hungry enough for cash to do it.

If every worker has to charge at least $100 for a half hour of time, and let's say the worker has made 1000 appointments, they may not all be half hours, but they are all AT LEAST half hours, so the feds know this chick made at least $100k.

There are a lot of reasons.
Prostitution puts underage girls at risk.
Prostitution exists largely as economically coercive. The vast, vast majority (95%+ are only in sex work because they have no over options.)
Legal prostitution increases violence against prostitutes, and sex trafficking.
It's inherently oppressive to women, and is used to cover other illegal activities, whether legal or illegal.
There is a childhood sexual abuse/rape ----> sex worker correlation that is incredibly strong. The "damaged girls" myth is entirely true, and sex work covers it up.
PTSD can be a result, and prostitution blurs the lines between consent and nonconsent, i.e. Rape.

thing is, most of them that line of work is not a choice, see drug habits and sex slavery

tricks aint willing to part with that kind of money and that drug habit too strong...too much cash money in ur hands may fuel dishonesty/corruption/exploitation (see rappers and accountants)
