No one's eyes get big when you mention Atlanta except for working class or middle class brothers. You do not think beaches, stars, renowned cultural events (not saying it is true but perception), etc. People think of Atlanta as a working town, lower to fair cost of living, ratchet life and strip clubs. I swear I never heard a person say I am going to vacation in Atlanta besides brothers . Athletes with cacs in their ear are prone to thinking the same way.

if you havent been to Atlanta, then you have no idea. Its augmented by their piss poor transit system.

I heard it is because one has to jump on the highway for everything. Miami's public transportation leaves much to be desired but the roads are so connected that it is a plethora of ways to get to the same destination. I heard it isn't like that in ATL.

It's also so many transplants, most there don't really care about the Hawks.
