Yur not supposed to take it easy on house shows. U want them coming back; you give them what they want.

Ive never seen any wwf talent ever say in a shoot that they took it easy at a house show. Anything but. Guys been yelled at for not oying attention for example punk yelling at edge christian and jericho for being more involved in the canadian olympic hockey team versus planning a matvh

Okay that makes sense. Thats why I asked. Well maybe taking it easy isn't the right thing and maybe its all about the schedule

I'm still trying to figure out why Triple H thinks he deserves an upper tier WrestleMania spot every year.

Yeah this is what I don't understand now I mean he's apart of WWE corporate now and has a lot more responsibilities being Vince's second hand man. It would be cool if he came back and wrestle every other year or every few years at WrestleMania but he doesn't need a top card feud anymore. I can understand him main eventing WrestleMania and winning last year's Royal Rumble because of all the injuries.

And every person on the roster is supposed to be new age and lazy? No one wants to see Cesaro or AJ take it easy at a house show..that's crazy:laugh:
Do you know how many house shows they run? You can't go balls out at every one otherwise they'll all be done in 3yrs tops.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Personally, I've seen enough of Joe over the years to know what we're gonna get out of him. He's not really a monster heel, and unless he's fighting guys that was 180-200 pounds, his moveset isn't all that exciting. It'll be interesting to see if his mic skills translate to the bigger arena/crowd. Because I've found him boring in that regard too, at times.

I hope it works out, he's 37, he's got a lot of miles on him, and this kinda feels like his last big shot.

I don't think he will ever main event wrestlemania or anything but he could be in that top mix of guys. Raw could use a fresh face too cause we've been getting main events of Rollins Owens Jericho and reigns shoved down our throat since August

For what its worth Seth puts strain on himself every night with the moves he does. Add that up with Vince working them mad days a week and this is the result.

I remember I went to the rumble in Philly that year when the Rock got booed out the building, on the drive back after the show went to a rest stop to eat and saw Rollins come in and order Burger King. He was visibly limping like he got shot in the leg. Then they def rolled him out the next night for another 20 minute match. At this point that was a few years ago. Even when they arent on an injured list, these dudes are always hurt in some way.

The wear and tear catches up to them. Doing Phoenix splashes and all that crazy shyt on a day to day basis will fukk you up.

Yea even before the knee injuries, I remember Seth walking with a limp :francis:

Nah, Trips got all the money he needs. What he does need though is to keep filling up his ego and pretend that he's a huge part of WWE history.

I'm not a Triple H fan but I would say it's a bit disingenuous to say he isn't a big part of WWE history when he was THE heel for most people posting here growing up(born in 1990 and above).

Youre not supposed to take it easy in house shows, but you ARE supposed to have a style that works reguarly and doesnt put you or your opponent at risk. In the same breath (and this is what people are confusing) those high risk high spots are traditionally saved for big events...jumping off of cages and 450s off ropes unless that is your finish, are special and often not done reguarly. A frog splash into a table isnt done every night.

The problem is, a lot of guys in this era know one speed and its risky asf. Flair, hogan, and sting worked one match their entire career as soon as they got made. Cena does, it just changes if he is facing certain foes (adding more kickout aas and odd finishers to make the match seem more powerful).

  • Finn can return and say He may have gotten hurt by Seth Rollins but intentionally hurting someone is another thing and he fully disagrees with HHH getting Joe to be his hitman
  • Triple H comes out and says He created Finn by bringing him into the company, molding him in NXT, and trying to make him his face of the RAW brand
  • HHH says he will take it all away from Finn Balor once again if he doesn't stay in his place and be a good peg on the wheel
  • Obviously, Finn rebels and somehow Joe gets involved
  • Joe vs Finn (Fast Lane)
  • HHH vs Finn (Wrestlemania)
  • Finn vs Lesnar for the Universal Title some where in 2017

I'm still trying to figure out why Triple H thinks he deserves an upper tier WrestleMania spot every year.

Because despite what this forum thinks, he is one of the biggest names in modern WWE history, is very well known outside of wrestling fans, is probably in better shape than 50% of the damn roster and can still put on a really good match given the right opponent. And let's be real he's still getting big pops every week cause the crowd are excited to see him. Plus at his best he gets some of the best heel heat and loudest boos in the company.

Yeah his ego is this and that, yeah he's probably a blatant racist and yeah he thinks he's on the Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling. But he's so damn underrated on here it's criminal, I'd rank him over Cena every day of the week.

Owens and Jericho have been doing incredible work together, that kind of charisma drives storylines and makes you care about - not just the strap and wrestlemania - but what's gonna happen on the show every week.

Count Miz in for this same scenario... a style of wrestling that happens multiple times per week, and keeps him and others healthy.
