Like who? Who is Vince going to let hold the belt at the start of mania season? Zig? King Barret? Cody? Adam Rose? The eater of worlds?
Realistically Ambrose or Cesaro. Either guy could drop it at the Rumble if need be.
In Cesaro's case, he wouldn't even need to win it. Just make it the final round in the tournament and give Reigns or whoever a run for their money.
Sheamus is likely cashing in and leaving SS with the belt anyway.

I, again, stand corrected. This is real bad. Like career altering kind of bad. Welp, can forget all of that Crossfit and flipping shyt. He'll bounce back physically, but he can forget about another run anytime soon.
I guess we'll see a Shield reunion in a year though

Yeah. It's over. He never got the chance to prove himself the draw, even though the Reigns feud would've been the money one. It was just getting started and I think both of them would've had a chance to raise their games for it.
I just don't really see him having the title again for a good while. He'll probably be back near Summerslam. The landscape will likely look a lot different. Should put him into a program that reunites the Shield or backs up the champion Roman.
He got awful booking and was given too much responsibility. After all of his off screen blunders, they might change their thoughts about him.
As for a Shield reunion, it's not needed. They all need to separate from each other and work alone. Same for Reigns and Ambrose.

I thought the same, but if they're going to keep tying Ambrose and Reigns together...might as well reunite the old gang off a need to stop Wyatt/New Day fukkery. Really hasn't proven much as a singles wrestler, as chickenshyt heel "chosen one" booking underwhelmed when done for over a year.
Hope he's near the same Seth when he returns and can actually get a story that justifies face turn.
