if you had asked back in 07 - i would've said champ. but what woodson did in green bay was incredible. the best part - he wasn't afraid to cover the slot.

Damn Champ get's no love. He basically shut down his side of the field. He was Deion-LITE!! in his prime that's why his numbers aren't as impressive as woodson's are.

Woodson is the best overall secondary player I've ever seen when you combine his pro and college career and his work at both corner and safety..

He's still a decent player
Green Bay's secondary is the strength of the defense with all of the young talent but damn still wish we had Woodson

Champ had like 10 INTs in 2006
And he was still a great CB up until a couple years ago. Torrey Smith took his soul in the playoffs
and then Russell Wilson stiff arming him in the Super Bowl was The interesting thing is, Champ played with Darrell Green his first couple years. Green played FOREVER and was still running 4.4 at age 40+
I think he still runs faster 40s than most DBs in his 50s nowBut I recall Bailey talking about wanting to play as long as Green but time and injuries have taken their toll
