The subtle film grain on the flashbacks too. Amazing. Also, the aesthetic of this show are crazy, makes it so it feels like it's on the past but vaguely. Everything is so vague. And that's deliberate.
Now on to the show.
I think Cold Harbor is can we get you to kill and not remember it. Going so far as to use two people with the closest connection possible to do it. If she didn't remember killing Mark then it's a rousing success. I don't think there's a resurrection angle to it. Gemma isn't dead and never was. She joined willingly which is why she asked about Mark.
The wilder part is that her severance is partitioned. There's the og Gemma in the lower floor, there's ALL THE DIFFERENT innies for each room (which I think are actually different people) and then Ms. Casey. That WILD.
Lastly, I don't think Helena/Helly is there to make babies with Mark. He doesn't have some magic jizz. She's there to ensure that innie Mark has a reason come back to work everyday. She slept with him KNOWING Helly would want the same. She's seen all the tapes and recordings.
So there's three main objectives of Lumen at this point.
1. Make super soldiers they can wipe on the spot. Boom, no more PTSD
2. Make a commercial product where women won't remember childbirth, you can zonk out at the dentist or doing shyt you hate like writing cards.
3. Kill Mark so not only does her prove Cold Harbor works, but to also tie up the biggest loose end

Irving’s painting theory
Now that we know the chip can create several innies because of the testing floor, I’m more convinced Irving isn’t his first personality. Irving has an earlier version of the chip. That’s why his bleeds through in dreams and hallucinations while the rest are blocked.
The reason Drummond has keys to his apartment is this is the personality they gave him. Early season 1 Irving was straight Lumon through and through.
Burt does know Irving the same way Mauer is Gemma’s handler. Burt’s transgression is what he did to OG Irving.

Huang is a part of a mentorship program that lumon runs, it's heavily hinted that Corbel went through the same program. Milkshake refers to it in the episode

I think you're spot on. And Burt's "original sin" was that his lover back then (which was Irving) he sold out and put him on the testing floor. They let slip that Severance has been a thing for longer than what's publicly know. Irving is most likely one of the first severed workers ever and he's been rotated through Lumon over and over. That's why all he can see in his dreams is the elevator to the testing floor. And that's why Burt was so quick to invite him over.
Starting to question if Lumon wanted Mark and Gemma to meet from the very beginning
I don't think so. I think they were just the perfect age with the perfect issues with the ability to be susceptible to coercion. Gemma was desperate and Mark was at the end of his rope. So Lumon comes in with some answer for Gemma and next thing you know she's locked on the testing floor for years. I think Lumon became aware of them in the fertility clinic. Which is why Gemma's room on the testing floor is laid out almost exactly the same as that.
