I’m looking at Cobel going to work with that drill on Petey in a whole new light now. I was not familiar with her game.

Yeah all her actions in season 1 have an extra layer to them.

She kept pushing Gemma and Mark cause she might have wanted to prove Jame Egan a fraud

This was the first trash episode of the series to me. Felt like this plot twist could have been executed way better. And Patricia Arquette isn't a good enough actress to carry an entire episode. Any scene where she has to raise her voice instantly becomes hilarious....she just doesn't have much acting range. Easily the weakest link of the cast. But overall just felt like this could have been thrown onto the backend of an existing episode. shyt was boring as hell.

I know some of yall didn’t like this episode but I thought it was solid. Cobel needed an episode to explain her origin story…we had bits and pieces but this episode helped explain her as a character

It also deepened connection to Lumon and why she’s so valuable as a character in the overall story. I appreciated that

Couldn't make it past s1 episode 3. Incredibly boring. Fell asleep multiple times and am not emotionally invested in anything here at all

Same. I don’t understand the hype beside the visuals and the interior design pieces. I was bored out my mind.

I think it is one of those shows that’s cool to say you like—it gives off a certain intellectual or in-the-know vibe. Kind of like having the latest iPhone or carrying a Starbucks cup. It’s part genuine appreciation, part social currency.

So Cobel was once Ms Huang selected for and won the Wintertide Fellowship. Then later created the severance chip that got stolen by Jame Eagan. No wonder she's felt jipped when she got fired. Wouldn't that make her for a tech testing manager or something? Since she kept tabs on Mark, who essentially is a test subject.
