The actual employees are the goods.
But Severance isnt that wise of a show

Severance is a very wise and layered show featuring the dialogue about consent, how capitalism has negative affects in society like profits over people, nature vs nurture and how “taking your work home with you” really impacts your life questioning what a work life balance really is.
