I was talking to one of my co-workers the other day. There is a girl at work that likes him. He is about the only person she "speaks" to at work. Apparently they talk often outside of work too. So he ends up sleeping with her. Afterwards, he comes to me asking why women get attached so quickly. It seems as if he has pretty much stopped talking to her and partially avoids her at work.

I told him that he shouldn't be surprised that a woman who he already knew liked him and who thought he liked her would get even more attached once they had sex.

I am curious how women view this type of scenario.

He liked her too, that's why he invited her out. He's not going crazy over it, though

She's not in love with the man, she just likes him. She talks to him both inside and outside of work plus they hang out, although OP didn't say how long they hung out prior to having sex, I'm sure it was long enough for her to start feeling him.

If he doesn't want a relationship or is not looking for anything "serious" he should tell her or should've told her before.

If you don't state your intentions, you shouldn't really be mad when people assume. Even though, assuming is not good either.

Young and naive people get their hopes up and let their emotions and expectations run wild when they are attracted or infatuated with someone.

The sex was probably bomb and shes sniffing after him trying to get more or lock it down so it's all hers.
