Yes I can because there's years worth of ineptitude ownership from Jimmy Haslam and the Browns organization. Jimmy Haslam is going to make the final call at the end of the day like he's done many times before. There's a reason why this NFLPA survey put both the coach and owner of the Browns at the bottom of the list compared to other organizations.
It was worst possible situation and organization that Shedeur could have ended up end as he's stuck behind 4 other QBs and literally have a GM and coach that's fighting to save their job. We know how they things end up playing out.
Not to mention they have the Jags first round pick and theoretically have the ammunition to move up in the draft for a QB with a higher ceiling if they really want to do so.
Let's take Sanders out of this and stick to the main points.
Just so I have this clear.
You think a GM who KNOWS his job is in danger, addresses the biggest hole in his team's pathway to success by bringing Joe Flacco (old), Kenny Pickett (terrible), and instead of using his first 3 picks to bring in someone who objectively is physically better than Dillon Gabriel like Dart, he drafts a defensive tackle, a line backer, and a running back.

Me saying no GM would be insane enough to blindly risk his job on Flacco, Pickett, and Gabriel regardless of owner? To add on top of that you think I'm also being silly that the idea of that QB room, with just those three, would be an uncomfortable place for a HC who KNOWS for sure his job is in danger? The GM knows his job is fine otherwise he's incompetent beyond words and honestly outside of the QB scenario he doesn't come across as that dumb/unaware to me.
Did I get that right? If so, just dap my post and we can agree to disagree with me on this point. I'm perfectly fine with my stance on this.
