That’s not a certainty. He will be running the west for the next 3-4 years, plenty of time to win.
They have the best roster with the best assets in the entire West, if Sam Presti fumbles this, he needs to move to Ukraine and never show his face in Oklahoma againThat’s not a certainty.
This CBA kills depth in contenders. They’re gonna have to start paying everyone, and won’t be able to. They should have enough draft picks to bring cheap guys in, but it’s still gonna be on SGA to be able to get it done when the playoff whistle comes around. They have the best roster with the best assets in the entire West, if Sam Presti fumbles this, he needs to move to Ukraine and never show his face in Oklahoma again
They traded for an MVP player that’s 26 in 2025 and will have much more time to win a title than the Clippers, are you serious right nowTrolling aside…
I’ve yet to see how OKC won The Clippers trade
The objective is The Finals…not 60 win seasons
The objective is a championship…not MVPs
The Clippers mortgaged their future for a chance at June. They haven’t gotten there and neither has The Thunder
Everyone just conceded it would happen for them but there’s definitely a reality they get bounced by Denver
This team isn’t “deep”. It’s just guys that typically do their job well. There’s a difference.
This game was also the first time Jalen Williams showed up in a meaningful game ever
Who’s the coach? Pop just retiredSpurs will have the league in a chokehold around that time.
Too early. With Shai, this is essentially his first really bad playoff game in 2 years, spanning roughly 17 games. He's been mostly if not consistently great in the other 16. As a result, this will be the first time where he'll face real scrutiny. Which is different than other stars who have shyt the bed with individual performances multiple times.
So it more-so depends on how he responds from game 4 onward, and ultimately if OKC wins. Remember, Steph had to deal with allegations of not being that guy up until 3 years ago, despite having 3 rings prior to 2022.
talkin' about "aura"...nikka u live in Oklahoma![]()

I keep waiting on this dude to take over a critical game vs a great opponent in the playoffs. He's 7 years into his career and two straight years as a 1-seed. He's going to win MVP and there was so much content this year about him having an All-Time year for a two guard...
Even going back to last year, it's not simply about scoring the ball, where us this guy's impact on the game when his shot ain't falling? And to the point of scoring the ball, every single All-Timer has to pass this test at some point. You gotta be able yo take over a game, and a series, vs a quality opponent...
7 years into his career, yet to see him do it. Great player. He may not be That Guy, though...
