I think its an excellent move on his part. Top Rank is the best promotional company in the game with a storied history of building prospects into superstars. Theyre around 30 years deep in the game and have PROVEN EXPERIENCE in building up fights and having the best on their roster. Shakur will be okay guys. I can't necessarily disagree with the team he decided to put together.
It's always a gamble. One fighter can have a great experience with a promoter/manager and experience financial success while another fighter signed to the same promoter/manager has a terrible experience.
I just know with the team he put together, every move is gong to be extremely calculated, to the point it will probably frustrate boxing fans.
