You don’t think that would be a waste of a high draft pick, especially a team that needs help now? I know the Pistons did it, but they had a veteran team and didn’t need Darko. Plus Larry Brown doesn’t play rookies anyway.
Harper will still have value after he is picked. He can always be traded later. Or one of Castle or Fox if they are required in a future deal.

The issue with KD is that you are either trading him for a younger star making the same money (why?) or a bunch of young cheap pieces destroying the depth. Also you got 3 teams in 6 years that he has lost his smile with and either left or forced his way out and he aint won shyt in that time. Only team that would make sense is the Spurs using cap space...but why do that when you can get Giannis?

This. Teams are limited in what they can do by the aprons as well.
Why you phrase it like this though :mjlol:

Myles would be better.
Would be better, but Reid probably the more realistic option as Indy can't let Turner walk as they don't have another big to replace him with.

Long term they need to figure out a #2 running mate for Cade now that he's on his rookie extension, but making progress on consistently competing is a start.
