Did you watch us this season and understand our weakness on offense? :francis:
Jalen green will make a superstar leap. FVV should be replaced but maybe he plays better next season.

Amen might get a decent jumper

But it’ll be Jalen with the Green light and as the shooter

They need a dominant superstar to pair with Jalen and everything will work

To this point, league and team sources said, the Spurs, Rockets and Heat have not come forward with offers for Durant compelling enough to get the Suns to bite, which means they will continue to look at the market for a deal that suits them. As one rival executive put it, “Phoenix is trying to drum up better offers.

The Rockets and Suns have had meaningful discussions about a deal, team sources said. Houston has a firm offer on the table but Phoenix, to this point, has been seriously underwhelmed by it. The Spurs, league sources say, have been conservative in their pursuit of Durant.

In February, the Timberwolves negotiated with the Suns under the belief that Durant was open to coming to Minnesota. He and Anthony Edwards have great affection for one another. Durant and Timberwolves president of basketball operations Tim Connelly both have deep roots in the Washington, D.C., area and have great familiarity with one another. Durant’s potential fit alongside Jaden McDaniels, whose perimeter defense is among the best in the league, would allow him to flourish offensively while carrying a more manageable defensive load than he has had with the Suns. But amid their most recent round of talks with Phoenix, the Timberwolves were made aware that he prefers to play elsewhere — specifically, league sources say, the Spurs.

Perhaps Durant will examine the landscape in front of him, see the Suns being unwilling to accept an offer from the Rockets, Heat or Spurs, and look at Minnesota in a different light. In the end, it might make a lot more sense than he thought.

He wants to go to Spurs but they are not offering much

Piecing together the various reports the current situation seems to be

Spurs are KD’s preference but they’re not offering shyt
Wolves have the best offer on the table but KD doesn’t want to go there
Suns want Ware in a Miami deal but they don’t want to include him
Rockets offering Jalen Green & #10 but Suns don’t want JG and Rockets don’t want to include other young players

You need vets but this kind of swing just doesn't really fit anything about their timeline, they basically got Fox for free but if they knew they were getting Harper they wouldn't have made that move either.

The human element/relationships are the only thing stopping them from turning around and flipping Fox to somewhere like Brooklyn so Wemby and the kids can just ride out.

Wolves should just pull the trigger, I don't see KD spending an entire year with Ant and then wanting out and going to another team.

Ant wants to shoot 15 threes a game

That isn't a worthwhile situation for KD at this stage
The only team that makes sense for him out of all the teams are the Rockets but if they aren't offering much, Suns have to do what they have to do. If Wolves want KD, they should go for him and call his bluff. Is KD willing to go to yet another team after the Wolves? Will a max contract be available for him in free agency next season? He likes Ant, spending a year with him can convince him. If he was younger I can see him moving but he's 3-4 years away from retirement, this next team is his last team.

OMFG just send this nikka to San Antonio already :dahell:

Spurs don't have to give up a bunch of picks.

They have like multiple 1st rounders in just the next 4 years. U can easily give away ONE 1st rounder (14th pick in this draft), 2 2nd rounders, and any combination of bum ass Keldon, Vassell, Sochan, Wesley, and Branham. shyt, they already gave a lottery pick to MIN for a pick in 2031, i dont see the issue with giving another one away for Kevin Durant, even if he's 36

they need wings and bigs. Try to keep Barnes. Vassell and Keldon are trash tier wings who have been paid already, and they have no real size outside of wemby.
Draft Harper and ur core can be Victor, Fox, Castle and Harper. Have Harper come off the bench like Harden did in OKC. Do NOT put Castle at the 3. Get a stretch 4 like Portis

U can have a starting 5 of:

Fox
Castle
KD
Portis (or another stretch 4 you can get in the offseason)
Wemby

That's decent shooting and defense right there. and it can be one of the best starting 5's in the West

Find another ballhandling guard who can run an offense because it's looking like CP0 isn't coming back, and he was like 80% of that team's IQ

stop fukking around and put a team around wemby. they're need to win ~16 more games to be a playoff team in the west compared to the amount of wins they won this season. Havent won 40 games in 6+ years and havent won 50 games in 8 years, and haven't won 5 straight games all decade. Just put a competent team together. No one's tryna hear all that "young team" bullshyt
