Shams: Kevin Durant lists Heat, Spurs and Rockets as his preferred destinations and only teams he would commit long term.

Cool, so you are Phoenix's GM. What logical trade can you think you can make to Houston for Durant.

Green is redudant to Booker and Beal. So is Brooks really. Green and Brooks add up to Durant's salary ($54m).
Who is playing center for Phoenix and getting boards since you dont want Rudy?

Make it make sense.
I would prioritize getting Jabari and the 10th pick, whatever else comes with that I figure it out. There is no scenario where Kevin Durant isn’t on the suns next year and the team is making even the conference finals. I saw the wolves are willing to include rob and Shannon. If that comes with rudy, then fine :yeshrug:I want youngins and picks.

Man really doesnt want to go to Minnestoa

He's probably feeling some type of way from that Playoff Series last year when Ant was talking BIG shyt as they swept the Suns in the 1st Round.

KD probably still wants to BEAT Ant more than join up with him. Plus to some level he may feel like the fit is similar to what he's leaving with Booker in PHX over the last few seasons.

Just my take tho

I don’t even think it’s that deep

What do Houston, Miami and San Antonio all have in common - Warm weather cities with no state tax

It might seem laughable to some but I feel like there's a strong chance he'll be in a Heat jersey.

I'm not sure if the Spurs or Rockets want to gut their young core for a 2-3-year stint with KD that may not amount to anything. I think Miami has the most to gain and the least to lose by trading for Durant. While yes, KD teamed up with Wemby and Fox is attractive, and KD with a young core in Houston is intriguing, I think Miami will be the only one of these 3 teams to really jump out for a KD deal.

Remember, Phoenix isn't too concerned about getting a haul back of certain notable talents or even competing next year, but rather clearing space for financial flexibility in the future beyond next season.

SA will not have to gut nor need KD. MIA doesn’t have the assets. It’s Houston trade and will not even have to give him the extension.
:ehh:
Green, Parker, a pick and whatever fillers. That’s all it takes. PHX wants more they can kick rocks. Who will give them more?
:patrice:
Seriously, who will give them more?
:mjlol:
SA shouldn’t do it. MIA literally doesn’t have the assets, unless Ware and Bam are apart of the trade. Why would MIA fit their team for one good year and two questionable years of KD.

KD should have let them trade him for Jimmy at the deadline

I mean would you rather play with Wemby or Ant?

He wants to go to San Antonio it is what it us. Plus I'm sure he wants to play a NBA game in Austin

This is a dumb reason. He literally just played an NBA game in Austin this past season.

But on a 1v1 situation basis, I would choose Wemby and San Antonio over Ant and Minnesota
