Their TV ratings were never going to beat First Take. Where they were winning the battle was online.

They were going viral multiple times a month (if not a week) and their YT numbers (both bootlegs and from their official channel) would be on par or better than First Take with less subscribers.

I think Shannon and Skip fit well together. Might not have personally liked each other but the characters they played meshed. Not so sure about SAS and Shannon. Skip is a masterful troll and Shannon was able to play counter to that. Skip elevated Shannon by giving him an irrational villain to slay. The character Shannon has crafted was basically the counter Skip. Is he going to go to FT and continue that?

It's like Pippen and Jordan. After Jordan retired Pippen never won another championship.
