First of all, the dude I was replying to was talking about the size of the city skyline. Can you read?
Secondly, some of you guys are about to be in for a rude awakening over the next several years. Lakers have traditionally drafted very well. They've drafted/acquired alot of "once in a lifetime" talent(even lesser guys like Van Exel, Jones, Divac were great picks) over the past 30-35 years, with the last being Kobe. That doesn't exist anymore as players aren't coming down the pipeline like that these days. And to my next point....
Players now, and the younger ones coming up don't give a damn about "playing in New York or playin in LA"
If that was the case, the Clippers would traditionally be better and land better FA's....and let's not even talk about the Knicks. Today's reality is, dudes would rather play in OKC(or wherever they can either win) alongside Durant/Westbrook than go to LA or NY. In todays media age, these guys can be a mega-star pretty much anywhere as long as the team is winning.
The Lakers not getting Dwight isn't really about right now while Kobe is still playing, but if Kobe retires next year as he said he would, the Lakers will be in serious trouble.
If you think they'll just find another Kobe, or Lebron or Durant is gonna run out there, you might wanna think again. And while all this is going on, nikkas are still talking about the past/reputation, Dwight just MIGHT be winning titles in Houston.
