THE DIFFERENCE IS THE SYSTEM BRUH

AND THE DEFENSE

Are you really under the impression that just saying the word "system" is some reductionist trump card that automatically negates all the credible evidence that refuted all of your claims?

Because you use this line of reasoning very frequently.

DUNCAN ON THE SAME LEVEL AS KG

ONE GETS MORE NOTORIETY BECAUSE OF THE SYSTEM THEY PLAYED IN

THE OTHER ISNT EVEN CONSIDERED TOP 20 ALL-TIME

GO FIGURE

KG was my guy of the two, but cut it out :childplease:

KG would fold under pressure when he was the guy. I remember that being the story about him growing up....

This just isn't true. But if CWebb is better than TD than he's also better than Shaq because TD is better than Shaq. Peak CWebb is a talented dude pre injury, but idk about this.

nikkas say the spurs haven’t won since TD retired, but weren’t the spurs beating the Dubs ass before Kawhi got hurt :sas2:

don’t front like pop hasn’t had a contending team since TDs retired. 2017 61 wins + WCF

That’s called leadership. Every single player on the Spurs would tell you that Duncan was the anchor and most important player on the Spurs from the day he was drafted until 2014. He was winning and leading that team to a championship his 2nd year in the league and has been the cornerstone.

I don’t get this “he wasn’t carrying the load like other players” but he was winning championships in his second year. He didn’t have a top 5 player as his teammate like Kobe and Shaq did with each other so he was carrying way more than either of them until 2005.

Simply put, he won more rings as the man than either Shaq or Kobe. That wasn’t the system, he turned up in the playoffs and got shyt done on the biggest stages. He made it through the brutal west and matched Prime Shaq and Kobe in the playoffs by himself. He was a Derek Fisher miracle shot from putting the beats on them two years in a row.

Y’all say he had Pop but the Lakers has Phil.

I'm so tired of Shaq's petty, hateful, jealous bullshyt. He's my favorite athlete of all time but man...I can't deal with this no more. Especially in the aftermath of Kobe's death...I don't want to hear legends get hated on. If you were the glue that made the system work, how does that make you a "system player"? Is Tom Brady a system player? fukkouttahere

That's not to say we can't discuss/debate things or critique legends. But leave the dumbass petty hot take bullshyt in the bushes. Duncan is one of the greatest players of all time, was absolutely DOMINANT for multiple years, and has 5 chips and 2 MVPs. End of discussion.

Tim Duncan's first two titles were two of the least talented teams to win a title in the last 40 years.

Speedy Claxton played crunch time minutes in the finals. :scust:

Malik Rose was a major contributor. :scust:

Washed Steve Kerr and Mario Ellie was out there getting minutes. :scust:

Shaq is a sensitive hoe.

How he cut Patrick Ewing out of the 90's.

Also how he cut Tim Duncan? He is bugging out and trying to rewrite history. The Spurs weren't always a great team and even when they weren't Duncan shined and was a beast.
