Kobe and Duncan probably win 3

Kobe and Dirk probably win 3

Put Kobe with any premier big man in that era and the results are the same.

Easy to speak on dead mans legacy lol

Kobe went to 3 straight finals wit Pau and won 2/3 lol

It ain't a probably wit Duncan or Dirk. Pau was a top 10 PF but as we seen when he matched up wit Duncan, Dirk or Amare in playoffs he wasn't like that as far as the absolute elite PFs. Couldn't even win a playoff game without Kobe.

They’re a bunch of malfunctioning spam bots who only repeat a few programmed phrases. Why anyone bothers to engage these people anymore is beyond me. It’s 2025 and we have the usual suspects on here still trying to rewrite history and convince people that Kobe was Shaq’s equal in LA when he received a grand total of 1 first place MVP vote during their 8 seasons together. That bleacher report list has them spinning out when there’s nothing particularly shocking or incendiary about it at all.

List of former "costars" who went on to win multiple championships:

1. Kobe
2. umm???
3. *scratches head*

Sounds like Shaq had a lot more help than Jordan / Bird / Isiah / Duncan / Hakeem / Kareem / Magic :childplease:

So Wade carried a fat washed Shaq to a ring but peak Shaq with Wade wouldn't win rings? :heh:

do you think every year has the same set of teams a title team has to go through or something? or that players have perfect durability? or that teams stay intact? if its so simple go find all these examples of two all nba players 3peating:russ:

What does MVP votes have to do with what was actually happening on the court :laff: :laff:

And this guy is talking about "8 seasons" together when Kobe was fukking 17 when they got started and Shaq was 25 in his prime. :what:

Such disingenuous, misleading fukking posting.....and "real lakers fan" @NYC Rebel cosigns this bullshyt :unimpressed:

Kobe dropping 48 and 16 in playoff games, taking over 4th qtr OT's preventing the Pacers from tying a finals series, outplaying everyone in WCF G7's, and averaging 30 for whole seasons can't be considered Shaq's equal

But Pau Gasol scoring 17 and 7 and shooting 12-30 in two straight elimination games can be considered the guy who saved Kobe

"Real LAkers fan" @NYC Rebel cosigns this kinda shyt :unimpressed:

Shaq had more help than Jordan?

The guy who played with Tony Kukoc, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman in the expansion era?

Was there all this frustration when ESPN dropped these list a few years ago and Kobe was 10th? I don't remember

So Shaq getting to play with a guy dropping 40+ in consecutive playoff games and taking over when he's clanking FT's or fouling out, is just minor compared to having Kukoc, Pippen, and Rodman:what:

MJ totally was sitting on the bench in crucial moments while Kukoc, Pippen, and Rodman were taking over games huh :unimpressed:

All to take away a dead mans legacy, nasty work that "Real Lakers fan" @NYC Rebel let's slide. :unimpressed:

Game 7 vs the Blazers in 2000

Kobe: 25 pts 11 rebs. 7 asts. 4 blks

Shaq: 18 pts. 9 rebs. 5 asts. 1 blk

This was the pivotal game that started the dynasty and Shaq fell short, again. Kobe led the team in every statistical category. The Lakers lose this game, no dynasty.

Peak Shaq would have been hatin on Wade for getting star shine like he did Penny/Kobe...Wade have the personality to overcome all that and still perform? He pushing Shaq when Shaq's being lazy or not saying anything?
He lowkey did it in Miami and Gary Payton had to tell him to let Wade be Wade.
