Game 7 vs the Blazers in 2000

Kobe: 25 pts 11 rebs. 7 asts. 4 blks

Shaq: 18 pts. 9 rebs. 5 asts. 1 blk

This was the pivotal game that started the dynasty and Shaq fell short, again. Kobe led the team in every statistical category. The Lakers lose this game, no dynasty.
Every game is “pivotal” in a seven game series.… if they don't win game 1 when Shaq dominated with 40 plus points while Kobe was comfortable being Robin and barely scoring double digits there isnbo game 7.…. Quite frankly Kobe only showed up for half that series… just like the finals that year... luckily he had his captain to carry him thru the struggles

26/12/4

Vs

20/5/6

On the WCF series.…. When they say “GoatBe” the talking about greatest sidekick of all time for sure :ehh:

Y’all keep repeating this bullshyt

1. The refs won that game for the Lakers.

In the 4th quarter

2. Shaq was 3/3 3/4 ft and had a game score of 10.3

Kobe was 3/7 3/6 free throws and had a game score of 6

The unmitigated gall to say Shaq didn’t show up in a series where he averaged 27 points, 12 rebounds, on 55%efg :dead:

Shaq shot 99 mutherfukking freethrows, you think the Blazers were worried about fukking Kobe.:laff:

This is really moreso about Shaq being on his own dikk than it is about downing Kobe. He's basically saying I'm so great I could have won with anyone. He feels justified in saying that because he won with Wade, won with Kobe, and almost won with Penny.
The dude personally went and begged for the suits to trade EJ and Nick because he felt they weren't aggressive enough...He would've been b!tching about Vince.

Kobe and Duncan probably win 3

Kobe and Dirk probably win 3

Put Kobe with any premier big man in that era and the results are the same.

Easy to speak on dead mans legacy lol
Kobe and Duncan are definitely winning 3 (or more) together...

There is no world where Dirk wins 3 rings, unless a player better than Kobe is next to him, and thats a short list. Dirk barely got the one he got, at the tail end of his prime. He was in his prime for over a decade and had a single Finals appearance, and a lot of L's, to his name. He and Kobe top out at 2 max, if even that....they definitely get 1, though.

Saying Kobe wins 3 with Dirk is assuming Dirk was the same caliber player of Duncan, and we know he wasn't...

Dirk is better than Pau so it wouldn’t be a stretch to say Kobe could get 3 with him. It’s all hypothetical anyway

I don't think he's downing Kobe here. Just bigging himself up for the best he was in his prime years in LA.

Him getting 3 straight with Vince is a stretch though. 1 for sure, maybe 2.

So he almost won 3 straight with Pau but Dirk is a stretch? :usure:

They don’t get by the Blazers or Kings with Vince.
They won games vs Portland with Kobe going 4-9 and 5-15 while losing a game by 8 where he went 4-13 with 6 turnovers and 6 fouls. They lost a game vs the kings with Kobe going 8-24 and fouling out. His game 4 was a good game but nothing otherworldly even before he missed the game tying shot. They lost by 1 in game 5 with Kobe going 11-29, missed 3 free throws, had 5 turnovers to 3 assists, and had 5 fouls. He was 10-26 with 5 fouls in game 7. These are not impossible games to replicate or be better than.
