Bruh if the coli is gonna tell me nobody else in the NBA could have put up 22/6/5 alongside Shaq …

:dead:
Really depends on how do you think Tmac or Vince would have played in the WCF vs the Blazers and Kings. Thats the real question. Would they have showed up for game 7.

Kobe had 25/11/7 vs the Blazers at 21. And they were down big in the 4th. He outplayed Shaq that game

Kobe had 30/10/7 vs the Kings at 23.

I was heavy Tmac, Iverson, and maaaaaybe Vince could win 3 with Shaq back in the day. However, part of that was focusing so much on the finals. Im not sure they would have played as well in the WCF. Especially Vince. And Tmac has had some disappointing game 7 exits.

Reasonable.

So why is there all this pushback from Kobe stans passionately insisting that TMac or someone else would almost definitely not be able to assist Shaq in winning 3 titles?

Certainly from a basketball ability standpoint there’s nothing to suggest TMac would hinder it.

That he struggled in the playoffs in his career is true.

That he never played on teams as well-coached and deep as those Lakers teams is also true.

So in the end we are right back where we started.

Shambles.

Expects to be taken seriously as a poster.

Purposely posts Kobe's first Finals Run when he was 21 and not the last two when he was averaging first option numbers :dead:

You feel me. Only person that should be getting downplayed is the guy who never made it out the 1st round lol yet he’s being boosted for some reason.
Pau never got out of the first round before joining Phil and Kobe. But youre certain that first round failure T Mac wouldnt have success if he joined Phil and Shaq. How does that make sense?

Doesn't matter if you do or you don't......because we don't :umad:

Kobe's numbers in the 99-2000 playoffs....as a 21 yo kid....nearly matches Duncan in his Prime Championship Years (2005 & 2007) :pachaha:

Which is disingenuous bullshyt because the West was ALWAYS a gauntlet all the way from the late 90s to the early 2010s

You'd think a "real Lakers fan" who's 60 years old like Reb would remember this

That’s cute.
You know what though?

Tim Duncan was never jealous of Kobe Bryant.
But Kobe Bryant was jealous of Tim Duncan.

Spurs had your boy in his feelings for 20 years.

Kobe winning 2 without Shaq has no bearing on Shaq's legacy.

Shaq shouldn't even be entertaining these stupid hypotheticals. He was the number one option on the team that won three straight titles. Whether he could win with Vince or Tmac or Ray or what he actually did with Kobe is irrelevant.

He was the undisputed best player in the NBA until Duncan was able to get one in 03.

Any people arguing that Kobe could have won without Shaq in the Early 2000s are fooling themselves. Bryant staged a mutiny in the 2004 finals taking over the offense and couldn't deliver for the LA Lakers. He was not ready to compete at that level.

You sound biased. So Shaq got to have a 29-point-per-game scorer as a teammate with Kobe.

But Kobe was supposed to compete with nobodies? Where was Kobe's 29-point-per-game teammate?
