WATCH HOW EASY
I BREAK THISDOWN
1. GASOL LED HIS TEAM
TO THE PLAYOFFS 3 TIMES
BEFORE COMING TO LA
AND HAD A 50 WIN SEASON
UNDER HIS BELT.
THIS WASNT GASOLS FIRST PLAYOFF RUN
UNLIKE VINCE/MAC
2. KOBE HAD 3 TITLES UNDER
HIS BELT BY THE TIME PAU CAME THROUGH WHICH MEANT HE COULD
SHOW PAU HOW TO WIN.
3. SHAQ ON THE OTHER HAND
HADNT WON shyt BY 2000
AND WAS SWEPT OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS
4 OUT OF THE PREVIOUS 5 SEASONS
WHICH MEANT WHEN shyt GOT TOUGH
HIS TEAMS FOLDED LIKE bytchES EVERYTIME.
PAIRING HIM WITH SOME OTHER
CAREER UNDERACHIEVER WITH
ZERO PLAYOFF EXPERIENCE WOULD
HAVE LED TO THE SAME RESULTS
AS THE PREVIOUS 5 SEASONS.
SHAQ NEEDED A DOG LIKE KOBE
Pau got bumped in the first round year after year. Wtf does any of that other shyt matter?
And wheres the point about Phil? Shaq saw a championship appearance minus Phil. Talking about his past sweeps is meaningless considering they came in deep playoff runs. A change in coach took him over the top along with playing Kobe, but that change wouldnt have worked with T Mac or Vince because of “their past?” Pau wasnt any more dominant than T Mac or Vince pre Phil Jackson but here you are pretending that he was.
Its crazy how you can use T Macs past against him as if Pau didnt have the same 1st round failures.
Shaq was one of the most dominant players the league has ever seen and saw a championship appearance before joining the Lakers . He needed a good sidekick and great coach to win which he had in Kobe and Phil. Shaq was good enough that he wouldve won with Phil period along with a player lesser than Kobe
