Ironically Shaq had similar comments about Kobe before Kobe bailed him out on the road and in game 6 vs the Pacers. Shaq failed to realized himself that he needed Kobe to shoot in order to keep the spacing in the post and not let players cheat.

Well that's Shaq's opinion. And have u forgotten what WB did to CP3 in the playoffs? WB might not be a pure PG, but he is a top 10 player in the NBA right now. WB has the potential to be a great PG, and trust me he has shown flashes of being a pure PG due to his triple doubles. The only problem he has is his shot selections, and finding the right spot to shoot or pass. If he can slow down and flex his IQ more, u won't stop him. With his size, speed, strength, and athletic abilities, all he needs to do his flex his IQ more. He needs to know when it's the right time to distribute the ball and score.

He even made history, when he had a TRIPLE DOUBLE UNDER 25 MINS OF PLAYING TIME...

OKC now has the youth and athleticism. Since Perkins is injured, Adams is going to take that spot, and I read that Roberson was destroying Lamb, and Morrow at the scrimmage game, so he might take the 2 spot. Let's go OKC!

Its a TEAM sport, Shaq is saying they need to distribute the ball more. If the TEAM is involved, they become harder to stop as a whole. Russ job is to create that balance, not become a black hole
He's so good that this very real fact gets overlooked. Good enough to win a decent amount of games during the regular season
But if they want to win a CHAMPIONSHIP then this is what needs to be changed in his game.

but imo it's on Scott Brooks not Westbrook
Westbrook is what he is and it has its pro/cons on the effect on the team, the coach job is to regulate it and make it work for the team

As long as Brooks is the coach, better coach teams will continue to beat them in the playoffs

Only problem I have with Russy is the games where he takes more shots than KD. Westbrook is a tremendous player but he should never average more shots in a season then KD for any reason whatsoever. If they had a true point guard who could get him easy buckets this problem would be solved immediately.

For two he is hands down a top 5 player in the league

For three besides Durant who the fukk else gonna score and create their own shot at an elite level on that thunder team besides Westbrook?

And four lmao at everyone who keep saying the thunder played better without Westbrook, they wasnt gonna be shyt when the playoffs woulda rolled around,i guess yall forgot the thunder got bounced by Memphis last year easily while Westbrook was on the sideline, but beat that same memphis team and thrashed the clippers as well with Westbrook in the lineup.
