Shaq: I Agree With What T-Mac Said. Probably Get A Lot Of Flak, But I Always Said Myself, I , I Think I Could've Got 3 In A Row With T-Mac.

Shaq didn't win with Penny in Orlando either.
:beli:

Thats a fair critique brother. But what we absolutely are not gonna do is ignore age and experience for one guy but use it as an excuse for another. No sir

So yea cool young Shaq got swept. Didn’t win shyt in Orlando. Ok.

What was young Kobe doing? Coming off the bench. Choking 4 air balls vs Utah. :beli:Riding Shaq’s coattails to a chip. Putting up sidekick numbers then got hurt in the Indy series they literally didn’t need him. Game one before the injury Kobe had 14, Shaq had 43 and 19 :mjlol:

Ngga you put Steve Smith at the 2 that year they still win that shyt. Enough

LOL, man yall really some pathetic ass losers.

They "literally didn't need him" as if Game 4 overtime didn't happen :unimpressed:

"Literally didn't need him" but he was there best player vs Portland in Game 7 :unimpressed:

Giving an age excuse to Shaq when he was over 25 when he was winning 60+ games with the Lakers and getting swept before Kobe grew up :unimpressed:

"Riding coattails" while hitting every clutch shot, taking over every 4th qtr, putting up insane stats throughout the entire 2001 regular season and playoffs. :unimpressed:

Like I said no one here is interesting in discussing what was actually going on at that time. Kobe can't get credit for hitting buzzer beaters,, putting up 48/16 and 45/10 in back to back playoff games, doing both MJ and Scotties role in the triangle as a 22 year old, but Shaq gets swept more than anybody in NBA history and gets all the credit, Tim Duncan shoots ass in back to back finals and gets all the credit, T-Mac did nothing his whole career but we're gonna give him second hand credit for shyt Kobe accomplished :unimpressed:

2000-2004 Kobe averaged more points than TMac 3 of those season, tied with him 1 season, and TMac was 2 points ahead of him for 1 season

All as the 2nd option, while everyone else who was top 10 scoring at the time was the 1st option

But hey, anybody could've done what Kobe did. :unimpressed:

"Kobe's become the floor leader of a basketball team that was kind of looking for that nature of a player, who could not only be a scorer, but also be a playmaker or consistently make big plays at critical times," Jackson said. "So it was very important for Kobe to step into that role that he was envisioned at. I've always held the bar up very high for Kobe, and he's not only reached that bar, but he's jumping over the top of it right now.

"And I think it's the best that I've ever seen a player of mine play with an overall court game. I'm asking him to do so much, and he's accomplishing it."

Jackson was quickly asked for a clarification. That includes Michael Jordan?

"I never asked Michael to be a playmaker," Jackson said. "That's the greatest player that I've ever had, that I could consider the greatest player in the game, and I never asked him to be a playmaker in those terms. I asked him to be playmaker when he was doubled or tripled. But Kobe has to set up the offense, to advance the ball, to read the defense, to make other players happy, and he's doing a great job of that."

Best PJ has seen with an overall court game. ah yes, Tmac, Steph or Vince could've easily done this, especially at 22 years old. :unimpressed:

Oh how I love Kobe fans. Y’all reliance on ambiguous generalities is always entertaining. The minute y’all are met with raw data it’s all types of bloviating, ‘clutch shots’, and mAmBa MenTaLitY.

How about instead of cherry picking select moments vs Portland we just…..post the stats for the whole series?? :wtf:

Shaq: 26, 12, 4, 2bpg, 53%
Kobe: 20, 6, 5, 43%

Ahh what the hell how about we just post their finals numbers for the whole three peat??

People talk about Kobe's airballs as a rookie, and even THEN the full story is never told

why was Kobe even confident to even shoot those airballs in Game 5? Why was he even in the game in crunch time as an 18 year old rookie? :jbhmm:

Hmm, maybe because in Game 3, while we were down 2-0 in the series, Shaq got into foul trouble played 17 minutes and only scored 11 points.

Whereas 18 year old, rookie Kobe scored 19 pts off the bench with 17pts in the 4th qtr to help the Lakers win the game and avoid being down 3-0

Y'all aren't really trying to talk about the real, full, detailed history of this shyt :unimpressed:

You wouldn’t have made it to the finals with Steve Smith and your comparison is stupid. Kobe was a teenager - Kobe at the age you’re talking about was with Shaq winning titles. You guys just hate Kobe and always did. No all time great player in the history of sports is slighted for playing with another great like he is. There’s no comparison whatsoever.

Chery picking moments? You mean the most important ones, in crunch time? :what:

You're a fukking idiot and you're fresh off getting bushed for trashing ADOS/FBA. @Voice of Reason , guys like this are the real tethers.
