Shaq: I Agree With What T-Mac Said. Probably Get A Lot Of Flak, But I Always Said Myself, I , I Think I Could've Got 3 In A Row With T-Mac.

They hate Kobe because he was a killer and didn't want to be buddy buddy with these muthafukkas off the court. I had to root against Kobe because he's a Laker but that doesn't stop me from seeing what time it was. I was more concerned with Kobe going off than anyone else from that era.

Shaq just trying to inflate his own legacy

What a dumb ass post

shyt like this is why Shaq is gonna die alone. Just an insufferable hater and piece of shyt. Even if that's how you feel...why would you make that argument knowing what it's gonna sound like to a loooot of people...

Maybe a loooot of people need to realize they look stupid & it’s just basketball

Yup, the Spurs beat the Lakers once in the 2000s

The Lakers beat the spurs 4x in the 2000s

Are we forgetting that Admiral, Tony parker & Manu are all HOFers?

How does a man have Admiral, Tony Parker & Manu yet go 8-18 vs Kob & the Lakers in the 2000s
2000-01 - Lakers beat the Spurs in the WCF when Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili weren't even in the league.
2001-02 - Lakers beat the Spurs in the Semifinals when Tony Parker was a rookie. Manu Ginobili wasn't in the league.
2002-03 - Spurs beat the Lakers in the Semifinals when Tony Parker was in his 2nd year and Manu Ginobili was a rookie playing 20 mins per game.

Just off the first 2 seasons above, you can eliminate 8 wins from that 8-18 to bring it to 8-10.

i can't even keep track of your argument. it's obtuse. yeah bean did. but duncan won 2 MVPS and 2 finals MVP's in the decade and overall won the same amount of titles in less seasons.
Duncan also won his 1st MVP when the 2nd leading scorer on the team was a 36 year old David Robinson averaging 12.2 points per game.

Let's be clear -- Tim and Kobe were both among the very best players in the 2000s decade. But each one had periods of time where they did the heavy lifting...and other periods of time where they didn't have to quite as much.

There's nothing in T-Mac's resume that suggests that's true. If he had gone to a conference finals then you could make the argument, but he's never gotten out of the first round as #1 or #2 option.
There’s also nothing in his resume that shows he had a Shaq or Phil when he was the #1 or #2 option, either.

Tmac is a great player but its hard to believe he would have done what Kobe did in some of the West series especially in some individual games. I cant imagine him having those games vs Blazers, Kings, etc. Those other guards also weren't elite defenders like Kobe was. These arguments only focus on one round but not the first 3

Nah Tmac or Steph at 22 years old would've totally dropped 48 and 16 with casual ease against the Spurs in 01. :unimpressed:
