And Hakeem's best isn't better than Shaq's best. ..Shaq would of crushed Kareem. Kareem can't be who he is if played against Shaq...same goes for Wilt and Russell.

How can you guys compare players from different generations, different periods of play, different stages in game and athlete development, especially when you guys havent seen half of these people play?

more dominant than who? i dont recall making individual arguments. I just think, that looking at the modern history of basketball, and all of the notable centres who have played, based on anecdotal evidence (the people who watched them play), statistics (which needs to be contextualized obviously), achievements, recognition etc, and i think the top 5 are Shaq, Wilt, Kareem, Hakeem and Bill.
I think thats the gold standard for centres.
Are you putting them in order, or is it no order....just the top 5.

Hakeem averaged 32.8 ppg, 11.5 rebs, 5.5 assts, 2.0 blks, and 2.0 stls
Shaq averaged 28.0 ppg, 12.5 rebs, 6.3 assts, 2.5 blks, and 0.6 stls
Shaq held his own. He was young. I don't think it would be fair to ask much more of him at that time.
