Shark attacks pro surfer during competition

I read articles saying that it was two sharks that tried to attack him and I think you can see it if you look at the vid closely.

Swimming in great white infested water is just flat out crazy. It was amazing to see dude come back up instead of disappearing in the deep with how aggressive that shark got.

10-year-old bitten by shark in knee-deep water at Florida's Cocoa Beach
The boy was bitten in the calf while wading in water at Cocoa Beach.

Lifeguards spotted the injured child and ran into the water, carrying him out and starting emergency aid.

"It is one of the worst ones we've seen out here in recent years," said Eisen Witcher, Assistant Chief of Brevard County Ocean Rescue. "This one would definitely be somewhere around the 8, 9."

"Two big waves came in and on the second big wave we saw what looked to be a juvenile bull shark," said witness Stephanie Yelenosky. "It had the dark gray with the gray and the black tip. And as we turned around and we were trying to get our bearings to figure out where it went, probably about 15 seconds later we saw a group of people in knee-high water and we heard screaming."

really.....so, this dude "punched" the shark and the shark went away? C'mon son....

That shark was either mentally challenged, or he was just trolling for fun that day.
