Ive always said....our new technology thats released to the public...is their old technology. Theyve had it for years

Doubling the 4k standard in the consumer space is completely and utterly worthless imo

if the tech exists, why shouldn't they sell it?

I guess "consumer space" is a tricky term. but there's always gonna be products which are considered more 'luxury' items

back in the early 90's I met these kids from Japan through skateboarding. they had these crazy walkmans that were barely bigger than a cassette

I don't think it's really like that anymore though. they probably still got some cool gadgets we never see. but I think it's more that their culture embraces that kind of stuff
