exactly we as designed to have more children because up till 1000 years ago Men stastically lived to be 35. so we had to reproduce.

The wild thing is that your descendants are unlikely to be alive 400 years from now but your ancestor of 400 years ago genes survived because he had a gang of kids.

You read european royal bloodlines and they died out many many times and they tried to preserve it because although some dudes are successful in having a lot of kids some of his kids will have one or no children.

It's wild that you're way more related genetically speaking to your female ancestor of 500 years ago than you are to your Male ancestor because almost every woman has children less than half of Men globally and historically speaking has children.

Finally there's the FBA debate. Black Americans will likely be Argentina'ed in 200 to 300 years at the rate we're going 53% of Black American Men are single and childless I think that 72% of Black American women have kids.

@Pull Up the Roots kinda corrected me but there's 2million babies born by Black women where the heritage could possibly be mixed or in question.

Again as Roots said it could be that the race of the fathers are not listed but also 20% of Black American Men are coupled to someone not Black American
I gotta see these stats. :ohhh:

“After 5, you should be shamed.”

You @CopiousX and @Remote acting like this man blew up a daycare. :dead:
Look, it’s not about whether they can afford it or whether it’s technically possible—it’s about whether it’s responsible. Fourteen kids is not just weird, it’s impossible to parent at a meaningful level. You don’t get 14 chances to pour the same time, attention, and emotional support into each child. Some of those kids are going to fall through the cracks—whether that shows up as mental health struggles, disability needs going unmet, or them acting out in dangerous ways.

It’s not judgmental to point out the math: no two parents can realistically provide equal love, supervision, and guidance to a literal football roster of kids. It starts to feel less like ‘family’ and more like vanity—filling a void, proving a point, or just plain ego.

And yes, it also plays into a bigger issue. In a world where resources are finite, having 14 children isn’t just a ‘personal choice’ anymore—it ripples outward. Overpopulation, environmental strain, even the sheer cost to society if some of those kids can’t thrive.

At some point it stops being about raising kids and starts being about collecting them. That’s not noble parenting—it’s greedy

No one rich or poor black or white should have that many kids. That tells me them people are not right, maybe early cte. You don’t have the time or energy to properly raise that many kids. It’s a bit selfish and after 5 you should be shamed.
They are just "super" Christian. They probably don't believe in birth control or family planning because "it's against God" and stuff like that.

This is all speculation based on pessimism. None of this can be proven one way or another. I knew someone was gonna make the “overpopulation” argument. If those kids are living in the US, where birthdates aren’t really shooting up, or are remaining stagnant, then it really is a stretch to say it’ll have societal ramifications. And YES, having money on this instance, makes a difference. If you have the resources to ensure you’ve created 14 productive members of society, who knows what they can become and what they can contribute. If you can foresee the worst for and conjure up scenarios of neglect, then why not speculate the best for some of them also. Just based on resources. There is no probability that “X amount” of the 14 will be fukk ups or be neglected. Does anybody in here know enough about Shaun, his wife, their extended village, his net worth, and the age gaps of his kids to boldly say “nah, he’s gonna cripple them for life”
