But if you ain't got the political chops to be able to forge relationships with people who you need, instead of insulting them and their gender, then you will never get a chance to implement those policy ideas.

It still blows my mind that Bernie alienated Liz Warren when their policies are ALIGNED. But she endorsed Biden instead of endorsing him cause he was such an a$$hole that he burned that bridge with her.

I didn't vote for Obama in 2008. I have no issue admitting my voting record. I'm not a "centrist". I'm an independent. But I voted for Bernie cause I didn't want Hillary as president. However when she became the nominee, I did vote for her over Trump.

I wasn't a huge huge Bernie fan, but I preferred him over Hillary.

If these past several years have shown us anything. Its that the democrats need to begin devaluing women and their roles in that party. At least publically. Theyve given women too much of a platform. And with their many platforms they have managed to annoy,push away every single demographic.


But the people in charge and in charge of campaigning are probably mostly women now. And sadly their egos wont allow them to believe something that is common sense. That certain things sound better coming from a man and vice versa. They need to learn when to use a man as their mouthpiece. Women yapping freely will continue to be the downfall of the democratic party

it's just a historical fact. look at the 2016 primaries. bernie was consistently beating clinton in the rural counties, while clinton barely took the cities. the DNC going with Clinton was a massive blunder considering the urban areas would vote for whoever the democratic candidate was, meanwhile it was the rural areas that came out in overwhelming support for trump. instead, the 'democrat' mega-sponsors took their ball and went home on some 'if we can't win, nobody can' shyt. same shyt they pulled in 2020 when they circled the wagons to make sure sanders didn't get the nod.

Plus Bernie was beating Clinton in the rust belt where the most critical swing states were, while Clinton was winning in the South where she was going to lose all the states in the general anyway.

And Bernie was beating Clinton among Hispanics and younger Black folk, both groups who were destined to have poor turnout if Clinton was the nominee, while Clinton was beating Bernie among older Black folk who were gonna show up and vote Dem in November regardless of who the nominee was.

Bernie was winning among non-affiliated men who otherwise didn't give a shyt about dems, while Clinton was leading among liberal women who weren't gonna go for Trump in a million years.

Bernie did better among working-class white voters, Clinton did better among educated white voters. Same dynamic again.


Every logical indicator showed that Bernie was the stronger candidate. But the Democratic Establishment wanted their own and people followed their prejudices to that decision rather than actually stopping to think.
