Wonder if she uses the word nikka.

Nobody outside America or Australia uses that word. Unless you're talking about people influenced by rap music who say it without knowing what it even means.

Black Americans and Australian Aboriginals are the only people who were stigmatized with the term "n*gger" by their colonial oppressors. In South Africa, black people were called KAFFIRS (word of Arab origin which means non-believers). That is their version of the n-word. The Dutch colonists adopted that Arab word and used it to dehumanize the native black population of South Africa.

Someone gonna see these replies and still be like “these replies are why y’all need to travel”

I’m not in the claim everybody as black train. Those are the “my brother my brother” nikkas. I don’t get mad at Dominicans or anyone who wanna be who they wanna be.

Just don’t cosplay when it suits your needs

So nobody,or just the people influenced by hiphop/rnb which would consist of alot of people globally:gucci:?

My point is if you dont identify as black, its not a word you should be using at all(no rachel dolezai).

Ive never heard her music,so no idea if she does or not. Just warning her if shes planning some American crossover.

We get that here in America but those in other countries don't. Remember in Rush Hour when Jackie Chan's character was saying "what's up my n*gga" to a bunch of black dudes at the bar and got jumped. To the rest of the world it's no different than saying what's up my man. They don't know about the history. This is why the proliferation of rap music has been so bad for the image of black people globally. Most people outside have no idea of the context or background of our culture. So they simply assume it's a benign word and use it as such.

Americans gotta stop assuming everyone in the world thinks like us or even truly understands our culture.

So do you believe we should not tell them their language and label of "coloured" sounds offensive? Im not even on some ADOS shyt btw. But i have a strong disdain for foreigners who want to follow and listen to the culture as long as its in the form of singing, rapping, dancing entertaining them. But soon as its time to be educated or made aware they dont wanna hear all that:whoa:

Outside of America most people don't know about the history of the word. Trying to explain double standards is always difficult even moreso to people who don't know that it was originally a derogatory word in every context.

If black folks want non-black people outside America to stop saying "n*gga" then we gotta start by not using it ouourselves. I used to be on that we can say it but you can't tip. But as I got older I realized that was dumb. Now I try to refrain from saying the word altogether.

You can't glamorize using a word then get mad when people who don't know the full history try to use the term in a similar context.

Interesting enough.....

Whites are the ones who cme up with the even if you're mixed, you're still black, one drop rule etc.

But yet, now we as Black ppl have adopted their logic on this.

Is it because we have low self esteem regarding representation? I dunno. But if someone is mixed, they shouldn't be forced to deny their nonBlack mother/father.
