Only heard this "auntie" shyt online. Why would a man call a woman that's not his aunt that anyway :dead:

It's pretty common in the south, in new Orleans for example, people will prefix an older woman's name with "tee-" or call them tee or teedie. All analogues for auntie.

Calling older women “Auntie” is regular is Caribbean/African households. I been calling my friends’ mums “Auntie” since I was kid.

Yep it is but also in those cultures its a sign of pride getting old. In America folks look at getting old as shameful.

Americans have a fukked up view of old age.

Also with black men they will say nephew and unc to old and young kats.

Just like kats will say what up old school to a older person.

Also IMO it could be on some bull dagger shyt. Don't think a gay women bull dagger would be cool with being called auntie. You know them gay folks like to stay young for as long as they can...:lolbron:

Relevant not Relevant. These females are brainwashing each other on social media.
One of my sisters went from stanning Killmonger. Saying all the "hay auntie" and "is this your king?!"
To writing him off as a hotep. I forget how it even came up but she just called the nikka a hotep in an insulting way. Then she brings up him being a hot head and choking and killing that woman like I ddn't watch her have a non-reaction:stopitslime:. I fukking watched the movie with her.

I was taken aback by it because like I said she quoting damn near all his lines and didn't and still doesn't know what a hotep is
other than they're ashy. I was just looking at her like:gucci: It would be one thing if she was 19 on social media but she's in her mid 30's letting these little girls influence her. Thecoli has changed my opinion on nothing and I use no coli slang irl but that's the difference with men and women. Females have to post with some level of cowardice wether they're on a board full of men or majority women they have a word or accusation that they fear being labeled so they will fall behind somebody's line. This internet shyt disturbs me sometimes.

She responds in a hostile manner

"DONT CALL ME MA'AM..I AINT EVEN TURNED 30 YET"

Even in cultures where its done this is a face-to-face type of thing. Calling public figures auntie is some straight weirdo shyt.
