No but it’s goddamn stupid to tell teams not to draft you. It’s dumb for a first rounder to do it, but for a 5th rounder to do it? It’s damn near career suicide.

Do you understand what a 5th round QB actually is? Quarterback is a premium position. If you show ANY sort of promise teams will overdraft the hell out of you. For a QB to drop to the 5th means they all see you as a career backup, practice squad body or in Sanders case just don’t like him.

It’s not like a 5th round RB who has a great chance of playing at some point. It’s going to take an injury or multiple injuries for him to play no matter where he went. Might as well go to a team that’s going to actually make you a better player.
