No you’re just using a terrible example a play where two teammates let rushers go untouched

Yall can’t even bring up the INT anymore since it was proven the WR didn’t run his route properly so now Yall gotta throw other shyt out there.

How about his teammates who are actual every week starters hold their blocks on 3rd and long?

Unfortunately, they spent the week hanging out with Cesar Ruiz Ruin. :jordanfacepalm: @smitty22

throw it away. His only read is covered. toss it over his head. he made 1 read

its 3rd down fool. He has to try to make a play. Throwing it away results in a punt anyway due to their field position. They gain nothing doing that so might as well take a chance and try to make a play even if it results in a sack. They had nothing to lose here.

The Real Titletown
All I’m saying is this: Stefanski has won Coach of the Year twice in the last five years. The guy can coach, and when he’s had even a competent QB, he’s proven he can get a team to the playoffs.

The idea that he’d tank a seven-figure a year job and his entire reputation just to “sabotage” a 5th-round pick is wild. That’s tinfoil-hat stuff. Could his read on Dillon vs. Shedeur be wrong? Sure—coaches miss evaluations all the time.

But no NFL head coach is intentionally sabotaging a potential franchise QB. Those guys are like the holy grail in this league.

Shedeur’s gonna get his shot. We’ll find out soon enough whether he’s the guy or not.

This is the part that is the most absurd. People use the words collusion and sabotaging too often when it doesn't apply or make any sense. An NFL franchise wants to do two things:

1. Win
2. Make money

NO NFL coach is going to intentionally start a QB that they think is worse and gives them less of a chance to win over a QB that they think will give them a better chance at winning. That just doesn't happen without extreme circumstances. No coach is going to want to have their team have a better chance at losing. It makes no sense at all, and that is not even debatable.

He’s taking those sacks on 3rd and long in a game that they need a touchdown to win.

Yes it would be better to get rid of the ball sooner but within the context of the game it makes sense why he would be trying to force something on those plays.

There is basically no excuse to be taking 15 yard sacks breh stop this madness.

You guys are goofballs :dead:

its third down in the 3rd quarter you are up and your defense has held them to ten points. Taking a crazy sack in that situation is terrible decision making as you give up field position instead of...simply throwing it away.

This nikka better be AMAZING for the rest of the year how ya'll think its every one else fault when he plays bad. this is crazy

:russ: at folks in here justifying taking 15 yard sacks to defend Shedeur. We're beyond the point of parody.

QB who took a million bad sacks (had the most in college IIRC :mjlol: ) continues to take bad sacks against infinitely more athletic defenders but somehow its everyone fault but his

This is the weird bait and switch yall do when you just want to prove a narrative.

You say “he’s been taking bad sacks since college”

I say “well in this game specifically the sacks came on 3rd and long with 6-7 man rushes and untouched defenders”

Yall say “Lol, defending sacks cause it’s sheduer”

:stopitslime:

As much as you wanna claim it’s other people bias in talking about him, that’s just projection on your part.

We can’t even talk about what happened in this specific game cause all you are concerned about is proving your pre-baked narrative going in.

you do realize that just because a team rushes more defenders than you can block it does not have to always result in a sack, correct :dead:

And most times it’s cause the offense had a play or situation to combat that. Not because an amazing QB made time stop and allowed his receivers to get up field before the sack got there. :stopitslime:

You right you right, if someone sends pressure you can only throw to a receiver or take a sack. throwing it out of bounds is not an option. I'm glad I'm learning new rules today :blessed:
